data and warehouse
In computing, a data warehouse ( DW or DWH ) is a database used for reporting and data analysis.
The data stored in the warehouse are uploaded from the operational systems ( such as marketing, sales etc., shown in the figure to the right ).
The typical ETL-based data warehouse uses staging, integration, and access layers to house its key functions.
The integrated data are then moved to yet another database, often called the data warehouse database, where the data is arranged into hierarchal groups often called dimensions and into facts and aggregate facts.
A data warehouse constructed from integrated data source systems does not require ETL, staging databases, or operational data store databases.
Data federation methods or data virtualization methods may be used to access the distributed integrated source data systems to consolidate and aggregate data directly into the data warehouse database tables.
Unlike the ETL-based data warehouse, the integrated source data systems and the data warehouse are all integrated since there is no transformation of dimensional or reference data.
This integrated data warehouse architecture supports the drill down from the aggregate data of the data warehouse to the transactional data of the integrated source data systems.

The 68000 has a 16-bit external data bus so must transfer 32 bits of data in two consecutive steps, a technique called multiplexing: all this is transparent to the software, which was 32-bit from the beginning.
Peripherals equipped with similar SCC's could communicate using the built-in protocols, interleaving their data with other peripherals on the same bus.
The Athlon utilizes the Alpha 21264's EV6 bus architecture with double data rate ( DDR ) technology.
This means that at 100 MHz, the Athlon front side bus actually transfers at a rate similar to a 200 MHz single data rate bus ( referred to as 200 MT / s ), which was superior to the method used on Intel's Pentium III ( with SDR bus speeds of 100 MHz and 133 MHz ).
AMD kept the 64-bit L2 cache data bus from the older Athlons, as a result, and allowed it to have a relatively high latency.
In computer architecture, a bus is a subsystem that transfers data between components inside a computer, or between computers.
Internal bus, also known as internal data bus, memory bus or system bus or front-Side-Bus, connects all the internal components of a computer, such as CPU and memory, to the motherboard.
Internal data buses are also referred to as a local bus, because they are intended to connect to local devices.
Often, a serial bus can be operated at higher overall data rates than a parallel bus, despite having fewer electrical connections, because a serial bus inherently has no timing skew or crosstalk.
Generally, the channel controllers would do their best to run all of the bus operations internally, moving data when the CPU was known to be busy elsewhere if possible, and only using interrupts when necessary.
Memory and other devices would be added to the bus using the same address and data pins as the CPU itself used, connected in parallel.
The integration of data marts is managed through the implementation of what Kimball calls " a data warehouse bus architecture ".

Athlon was the first x86 processor with a 128 kB split level 1 cache ; a 2-way associative, later 16-way, cache separated into 2 × 64 kB for data and instructions ( Harvard architecture ).

* 1988 — Barry Devlin and Paul Murphy publish the article An architecture for a business and information system in IBM Systems Journal where they introduce the term " business data warehouse ".
Maintaining tight management over the data warehouse bus architecture is fundamental to maintaining the integrity of the data warehouse.
The hybrid architecture allows a DW to be replaced with a master data management solution where operational, not static information could reside.
::* Shared memory architecture, where multiple processors share the main memory space, as well as other data storage.
Database architecture ( to be distinguished from DBMS architecture ; see below ) may be viewed, to some extent, as an extension of data modeling.
The above three-level database architecture also relates to and being motivated by the concept of data independence which has been described for long time as a desired database property and was one of the major initial driving forces of the Relational model.
QuickTime, Apple Computer's architecture for time-based and streaming data formats appeared in June, 1991.

The history of stored-program computers relates first to computer architecture, that is, the organization of the units to perform input and output, to store data and to operate as an integrated mechanism.

he is questioning, also, every epistemology which stems from Hume's presupposition that experience is merely sense data in abstraction from causal efficacy, and that causal efficacy is something intellectually imputed to the world, not directly perceived.
As long as perception is seen as composed only of isolated sense data, most of the quality and interconnectedness of existence loses its objectivity, becomes an invention of consciousness, and the result is a philosophical scepticism.
The lack of scientific unanimity on the effects of radiation is due in part to insufficient data covering large population groups, from which agreed-on generalizations could be drawn.
The Secretary of the Interior or any duly authorized representative shall be entitled to admission to, and to require reports from the operator of, any metal or nonmetallic mine which is in a State ( excluding any coal or lignite mine ), the products of which regularly enter commerce or the operations of which substantially affect commerce, for the purpose of gathering data and information necessary for the study authorized in the first section of this Act.

For four of the six ( the anaconda and the amethystine python cannot be included for lack of data ) there is also a correlation between size at maturity and maximum length, the boa constrictor being the smallest and the Indian python the next in size at the former stage.
There are few data on the boa constrictor, those for the anaconda are unconvincing, and there is nothing at all on the amethystine python.

What matters is that while Fromm's reading of the data is not the only one possible, it is precisely the one we would expect from a writer who earnestly believes that every man can and ought to be happy and satisfied.
The point is that in a system such as Fromm's which recognizes unconscious motivations, and which rests on certain ethical absolutes, empirical data can be used to support whatever proposition the writer is urging at the moment.
