Sundazed Records reissued Torrence's Save for a Rainy Day in 1996 in CD and vinyl formats, as well as the collector's vinyl 45 " companion EP, " Sounds For A Rainy Day ," featuring four instrumentals versions of the album's tracks.

The album's run in the charts was not complete either ; on 7 March 1987, almost 23 years after its original release, Beatles for Sale re-entered the charts briefly for a period of two weeks shortly after the first CD release on 26 February 1987.

Later CD releases rendered the album's title in black or grey.

* The New Rolling Stone Album Guide praises the album but maintains that it has " loads of self-indulgent filler ," identifying " Revolution # 9 " in particular as " justly maligned ," and suggests that listeners in the CD era, who can program digital players to skip over unwanted tracks, may have an advantage over the album's original audience.

Jailbreak and Johnny the Fox are double CD editions with the second disc containing outtakes, BBC session recordings and newly remixed versions of two of that particular album's tracks.

Justin Ferreira ( who replaced De La Garza ) was on drums for the recording, but left before the album's release to join the Orange County band Takota and subsequently is listed as an additional musician on the CD.

The first 50, 000 pressings of the CD feature the original version of " Jack Names the Planets " and its b-side " Don't Know " ( February 1994 ), hidden in the album's pregap: they are accessed by ' rewinding ' from track one.

Bob Harris of BBC Radio 2 included one of the album's tracks, " Tonight ", on his compilation CD Bob Harris Presents ... ( Vol. 1 ).

The CD contains a 19-minute multimedia section, including two documentary-style videos shot during the album's recording, and a music video for the track " Horseshoes and B-52s " directed by Moore.

Because of the incomplete state of the band at the time of the album's release, the only official member appearing on the CD is Reese Roper.

The album's b ' side is a live version of " Broken Hyms ", which was not included on the Fenway Park live CD.

In July 2010, a 2-disc Deluxe Edition of A Secret Wish, containing the varying tracks released on both the original vinyl album, cassette and CD versions, was released to mark the album's 25th anniversary.

A different version appeared on the album's first CD issue.

This can mean the remix was released on a CD single, 12 " vinyl single, cassette single, or it can mean the remix was released on one of the artist's albums ( usually on a greatest hits compilation or as a bonus track to a studio album's international release ).

However, the opening sequence that matches the one on the CD was used, complete with the same sax solo and couch gag, on the episodes " Monty Can't Buy Me Love ", " Simpson Safari " and " The Bart Wants What It Wants ", which aired well after the album's release.

All reissues of the album since 1968 have been in stereo ; the album's mono mix has yet to see an official CD release.

The new deluxe edition features the original 1993 album, a second CD containing b-sides, rarities and outtakes and a bonus DVD featuring the album's six original videos plus a rare alternate version of " All I Wanna Do " directed by Roman Coppola.

The album's popularity continues to the present day, with several legitimate and non-legitimate releases on both album and CD.

The album's 27 tracks on two compact discs were recorded from 1984 to 1986 but previously unreleased on CD.

In the U. S., it began its run as the album's third and final single on radio and television in November 2004 ; in the United Kingdom ( where it was the second single ), a CD single was released in January 2005.

Many photos from that album's CD sleeve are close-up photos of the Synthi 100's control panels and displays.

For unknown reasons, this album was unreleased by Motown, but in April, 2011, the album's original tracks, along with fourteen unreleased original Contours 1960s Motown recordings, and new 2011 interviews with the Contours ' founder Joe Billingslea as well as with Sylvester Potts, was released as part of the CD compilation collection, Dance With The Contours on the import label, Kent Records, under legal license from, and with the full approval of, the owners of the Motown catalogue.

The CD single also includes " 9 to 5 " and " Dragster ", which are b-sides from the album's recording sessions.

Reviewing the album's double CD incarnation for Allmusic, Sean Westergaard wrote, " Frank Zappa [...] was one of the finest and most underappreciated guitarists around.

In commentary for a lawsuit to block the album's release, John Lennon wrote, " the sleeve note, apart from being inaccurate, seems to have been written with a court case in mind.

Mel Gaynor and John Giblin both contributed to the recording ( and, in Giblin's case, to some of the writing ) but both men had left the band by the time of the album's release, by which time the band was credited as a trio of Kerr, Burchill and MacNeil.

The limited edition box set ( only 1, 000 available ) included remastered versions of the album's track listing, extended artwork, handwritten lyrics, unreleased photos, guitar picks, a commemorative tour laminate, all encased in an intricate Swiss army knife case.

As would be the case throughout the band's entire career, the vast majority of the album's songs were written by Pope and Staples.

In another notable case, Hum would sign to RCA in 1994, selling approximately 250, 000 copies of their album You'd Prefer an Astronaut fueled by the success of the album's lead single " Stars ", and while the band had established by this point a strong underground fanbase, this would prove to be " the pinnacle of Hum's media attention ", as its follow-up, 1998's Downward Is Heavenward would sell poorly, resulting in the decision of RCA to drop the band from their roster.

Two versions of the album were released: the regular store-sold version in a normal jewel case and a limited edition digipak version ( 1, 000 copies ) sold at the album's release party and concert.

The album's title song was " De Volta ao Planeta " ( the " Planet ", in this case referring to Planet of the Apes ) with monkey noises backgrounding its chorus.

Five of the album's tracks were Neil's solo compositions and two were by Hester, the exuberant " Italian Plastic ", which became a crowd favourite at concerts and the hidden track " I'm Still Here ".

In the album's final track, " Thy Unveiling ", Joseph Bruce revealed that the hidden message of their music was always to follow God and make it to Heaven.

The first pressing featured another hidden track, on the album's last track, " Evaporated.

This is a lyric from the album's hidden track, Midnight Sun.

* " Union Blood ", the album's fifteenth track, is a hidden track and not mentioned on the back cover.

Kerry Livgren composed all of the album's tracks, and he sings ( which he does not normally do ) on the hidden track " Geodesic Dome ".

*" She Said " was previously released as a hidden track on Dosage, where it was merged on the same track as the album's listed closer " Crown ".

A commercial for the album, added as a hidden track on the Rhino Records remaster, jokes about the album's length and number of songs.

At the same time, The Tipping Point stays true to The Roots style of going deep into a groove for longer than most hip-hop artists ; this is evident on the album's hidden track " Din Da Da ".

Including the blank space on track 11 between " Dear Dear " and the hidden track " Social Work ", the album's running time when displayed on a CD player is 54: 40.

Of note is the CD version of the album's hidden 13th track, which consists of all of the album's preceding tracks played backwards.
