IEEE 802. 2 is the name given to a subsection of the IEEE 802 standard that describes a software component of a computer network.

Section 273. 1 ( 1 ) defines consent, section 273. 1 ( 2 ) outlines certain circumstances where " no consent " is obtained, while section 273. 1 ( 3 ) states that subsection ( 2 ) does not limit the circumstances where " no consent " is obtained ( i. e. subsection ( 2 ) describes some circumstances which deem the act to be non-consensual, but other circumstances, not described in this section, can also deem the act as having been committed without consent ).

* A person mentioned in subsections ( a ) or ( b ) of ( the codification of the Presidential Succession Act of 1947 ) -- that is, the Speaker of the U. S. House of Representatives or President pro tempore of the U. S. Senate — becoming able to act as President, when those powers and duties are being exercised by a member of the Cabinet under subsection ( d ) in virtue of there being no Speaker or President pro tempore able to act upon the entry into operation of the provisions of the statute.

This subsection does not grant any powers of peace officers of this state to arson investigators other than those necessary for the investigation, detection and apprehension authority granted by this subsection.

( 1 ) Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection ( a )( 1 )( A ), a person who has lawfully obtained the right to use a copy of a computer program may circumvent a technological measure that effectively controls access to a particular portion of that program for the sole purpose of identifying and analyzing those elements of the program that are necessary to achieve interoperability of an independently created computer program with other programs, and that have not previously been readily available to the person engaging in the circumvention, to the extent any such acts of identification and analysis do not constitute infringement under this title.

" In exercising or performing any functions in relation to, or so as to affect, land in a National Park, any relevant authority shall have regard to the purposes specified in subsection ( 1 ) of section five of this Act and, if it appears that there is a conflict between those purposes, shall attach greater weight to the purpose of conserving and enhancing the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the area comprised in the National Park.

The identification of information systems in an inventory under this subsection shall include an identification of the interfaces between each such system and all other systems or networks, including those not operated by or under the control of the agency.

This subsection shall not be so construed as to deprive the owner of any background patent relating thereto of such rights as he may have thereunder.

Some laws are still passed retrospectively, in 1990 the Pakistan Act ( which readmitted Pakistan to the Commonwealth ) was one such law, despite being passed on 29 June 1990, section 2 subsection 3 states that " This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on 1st October 1989 ", nine months before it was enacted.

If a declaration under this section is made, this subsection and subsection 3, other than the amendment of this Constitution effected thereby, and subsection 5, of this section shall be omitted from every official text of this Constitution published thereafter, but notwithstanding such omission this section shall continue to have the force of law.

::( 2 ) The same rule shall apply in the case of the death, resignation, removal from office, or inability of an individual acting as President under this subsection.

::( 1 ) If, by reason of death, resignation, removal from office, inability, or failure to qualify, there is no President pro tempore to act as President under subsection ( b ) of this section, then the officer of the United States who is highest on the following list, and who is not under disability to discharge the powers and duties of the office of President shall act as President: Secretary of State, Secretary of the Treasury, Secretary of Defense, Attorney General, Secretary of the Interior, Secretary of Agriculture, Secretary of Commerce, Secretary of Labor, Secretary of Health and Human Services, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Secretary of Transportation, Secretary of Energy, Secretary of Education, Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Secretary of Homeland Security.

::( 3 ) The taking of the oath of office by an individual specified in the list in paragraph ( 1 ) of this subsection shall be held to constitute his resignation from the office by virtue of the holding of which he qualifies to act as President.

For non-zero b and positive n, the recurrence relation from the previous subsection can be rewritten as

( a ) Except as provided in subsection ( b ) of this section, whoever, whether inside or outside the United States, seizes or detains and threatens to kill, to injure, or to continue to detain another person in order to compel a third person or a governmental organization to do or abstain from doing any act as an explicit or implicit condition for the release of the person detained, or attempts or conspires to do so, shall be punished by imprisonment for any term of years or for life and, if the death of any person results, shall be punished by death or life imprisonment.

( 1 ) Despite the rules of common law, a person described in subsection ( 2 ) who voluntarily and without reasonable expectation of compensation or reward provides the services described in that subsection is not liable for damages that result from the person's negligence in acting or failing to act while providing the services, unless it is established that the damages were caused by the gross negligence of the person.

and ( 2 ) such other special funds as may, in the discretion of the Secretary of the Treasury, be required each to be a claims fund to be known by the name of the foreign government which has entered into a settlement agreement with the Government of the United States as described in subsection ( A ) of Section 4 of this Title.

Under subsection 23 ( 3 ), the same rule applies to deeds and other instruments.

For the purposes of sections 58 and 59 of the Offences against the Person Act 1861, and any rule of law relating to the procurement of abortion, anything done with intent to procure a woman's miscarriage ( or in the case of a woman carrying more than one foetus, her miscarriage of any foetus ) is unlawfully done unless authorised by section 1 of the Abortion Act 1967 and, in the case of a woman carrying more than one foetus, anything done with intent to procure her miscarriage of any foetus is authorised by the said section 1 if the ground for termination of the pregnancy specified in subsection ( 1 )( d ) of the said section 1 applies in relation to any foetus and the thing is done for the purpose of procuring the miscarriage of that foetus, or any of the other ground for termination of the pregnancy specified in the said section 1 applies.

The bristlecone pines are a small group of pine trees ( family Pinaceae, genus Pinus, subsection Balfourianae ) that are thought to reach an age far greater than that of any other single living organism known, up to nearly 5, 000 years.

( B ) As used in this section, other than subsection ( a ), the term " service provider " means a provider of online services or network access, or the operator of facilities therefore, and includes an entity described in subparagraph ( A ).

The Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development () is the Minister of the Crown in the Canadian Cabinet responsible for overseeing the corresponding federal government department ( Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada ) and administering the Indian Act and other legislation dealing with " Indians and lands reserved for the Indians " under subsection 91 ( 24 ) of the Constitution Act, 1867.

**** Another murder and the provisions of subsection 12 do not otherwise apply to that other murder ; or

any other institutions of higher education in the State, of so many members of Seanad Éireann as may be fixed by law in substitution for an equal number of the members to be elected pursuant to paragraphs i and ii of the said subsection 1.

Noncompliance with this subsection shall not constitute probable cause for violation of any other provision of law.

" Hong Kong Time " ( 香港時間 ) means the time used for general purposes throughout Hong Kong namely, 8 hours, or such other period as may be determined by the Legislative Council by resolution under this subsection or under section 16 of the Oil ( Conservation and Control ) Ordinance ( Cap 264 ), in advance of Universal Standard Time.

No agency or instrumentality of the Government may – ( a ) establish criteria for making such determination ; ( b ) review agency determination made by the certifying school, school board, local educational agency, library, or other authority ; or ( c ) consider the criteria employed by the certifying school, school board, educational agency, library, or other authority in the administration of subsection.
