The Siegrist's Mill Covered Bridge is a, Burr Arch Truss covered bridge over Chiques Creek between Rapho and West Hempfield townships, Lancaster County in U. S. state of Pennsylvania.

Another long neglected covered bridge, the Bells Ford Bridge, which is believed the last remaining Post Truss bridge in the world, succumbed to similar neglect, collapsing into the White River on January 2, 2006.

* The first Burr Truss bridge is built by Theodore Burr across the Hudson River in Waterford, New York.

Truss bridges became a common type of bridge built from the 1870s through the 1930s.

During his Presidency, he decided to take a well-established wooden bridge pattern ( the Howe Truss ) and use it as the pattern for an all iron bridge.

The bridge takes the form of an inverted Fink Truss, with six masts rising above the deck at centres, varying in height from almost at each end to just for the smallest masts.

At Capon Lake, the river is joined by Capon Springs Run and is the site of the historic Whipple Truss bridge.
