The Autobiography of an Unknown Indian is the autobiographical work of one of India's most controversial writers -- Nirad C. Chaudhuri.

Following India's independence, the India Gate became the site of the Indian Army's Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, known as Amar Jawan Jyoti (" the flame of the immortal soldier ").

Unknown to the settlers, their new settlement was on the site of an old Tuscarora Indian village.
