Snider then recorded an album with Franco programming the drum machine and featuring several session musicians such as Reb Beach on guitar and Kip Winger ( just before they formed Winger ) and Steve Whiteman of Kix.

During this tour, Winger recorded Winger Live which was released on CD and DVD in 2007.

In 2009 Winger recorded their 5th studio album, ' Karma ', which was hailed as their best record The band toured the US, Europe and South America.

At least two more songs were recorded during the In the Heart of the Young sessions, but " All I Ever Wanted " and " Never " did not make it to the final album because producer Beau Hill found them too heavy for the Winger sound.

In support of the album, Winger toured for over a year with bands like Bad Company, Scorpions, Cinderella, Bon Jovi, Poison, Skid Row and Tesla.

In late 2009, it was confirmed that Winger would record a fifth album Karma, with a tour to support it.

In September 2006, it was announced that Winger would be reformed, with the Pull era line-up, to record the band's fourth studio album, IV, and to go on tour to support it.

The band Winger released three of its nine albums ( Winger ( 1988 ), In the Heart of the Young ( 1990 ), and Pull ( 1993 ) before they each moved on to have solo careers.

The band's two platinum albums, Winger and In the Heart of the Young, along with charting singles " Seventeen ", " Headed for a Heartbreak " and " Miles Away ", put the band on the top of the charts by the early 1990s.
