Motor sport authors Mike Lawrence and David Hodges have said that a lack of resources may have cost the team results, a view echoed by Ron Tauranac.

David Lawrence Angell ( April 10, 1946 – September 11, 2001 ) was an American producer of sitcoms.

After an oil drilling operation in 1903 in Dexter, Kansas, produced a gas geyser that would not burn, Kansas state geologist Erasmus Haworth collected samples of the escaping gas and took them back to the University of Kansas at Lawrence where, with the help of chemists Hamilton Cady and David McFarland, he discovered that the gas consisted of, by volume, 72 % nitrogen, 15 % methane ( a combustible percentage only with sufficient oxygen ), 1 % hydrogen, and 12 % an unidentifiable gas.

His team suffered poor reliability during this period and motorsport authors Mike Lawrence and David Hodges have said that Brabham's reluctance to spend money may have cost the team results, a view echoed by Tauranac.

On August 11, 2003, Chris Allegretta officially handed the source code maintenance for nano to David Lawrence Ramsey.

Moviegoers may recognize Sakamoto primarily through his score work on two films: Nagisa Oshima's Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence ( 1983 ), including the title theme and the duet " Forbidden Colours " with David Sylvian, and Bernardo Bertolucci's The Last Emperor ( 1987 ), the latter of which earned him the Academy Award with fellow composers David Byrne and Cong Su.

Frequent collaborator David Sylvian contributed lead vocals to " Forbidden Colours " – the main theme to Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence – which became a minor hit.

Sakamoto has also acted in several films: perhaps his most notable performance was as the conflicted Captain Yonoi in Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence, alongside Takeshi Kitano and British rock singer David Bowie.

The campus includes numerous works by well-known artists ( including the Centennial Fountain by Seattle artist George Tsutakawa — recipient of an honorary doctorate from Seattle U .— and a large glass sculpture in the PACCAR Atrium of Piggot Hall by Tacoma, Washington artist Dale Chihuly, as well as works by Chuck Close, Jacob Lawrence, Gwendolyn Knight, William Morris ( glass artist ) and David Mach ) and several architecturally notable buildings.

As programming chief, Robert W. The Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory ( Berkeley Lab ), is a U. S. Department of Energy ( DOE ) national laboratory conducting unclassified scientific research.

The laboratory was founded as the Radiation Laboratory of the University of California, associated with the Physics Department, on August 26, 1931 by Ernest Orlando Lawrence as a site for centering physics research around his new instrument, the cyclotron ( a type of particle accelerator for which he won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1939 ).

Throughout the 1930s, Lawrence pushed to create larger and larger machines for physics research, courting private philanthropists for funding.

Classified weapon research would take place at Los Alamos National Laboratory ( LANL ) ( established during the war ) and the new Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory ( LLNL ), established by Lawrence and Edward Teller from what was originally a splinter from the original Radiation Laboratory.

It was Lawrence ’ s belief that scientific research is best done through teams of individuals with different fields of expertise, working together.
