57's

Project 57's weapons safety test was conducted here on 24 April 1957, spreading particles emitting alpha radiation over a large area.

Ironically, of course, Viacom had been the owner of the majority of channel 57's schedule back in 1985, and in fact was one of Grant's former creditors and a part-owner of Combined.

Unlike the chain-drive twin-cam engines of the Type 50 and 51, the 57's engine used gears to transmit power from the crankshaft.

It used an enlarged 3. 3 L ( 3257 cc / 198 in³ ) version of the straight-8 Type 57's engine sitting in a modified Type 54 chassis.

The 57's subsequently were used up in stock car racing at a very high rate.
