What amazing stuff? I think you know the answer. It's a positive thing when I promise to do something and I stick with it for four cycles. Eight days is a long time, you know. And Scene 1 is especially hard. You all should be really happy about that. And what more, I'm giving you the high quality version for free. Why am I doing such a foolhearty thing? Because I want to. There's also something called bait and switch. ^_^; Nonono... I didn't say anything about JF being free forever. I'm simply baiting giving you a free sneak peak at what you could get for the amazingly low price of $10. That's right, give me $10 and I'll give you all of JF as soon as it comes out. I will tell you now that JF Final Scene 2 will be password protected. JF Scene 1 is bait. If you like these high quality pictures more than the low quality pictures, you'll want to subscribe to see all 24 scenes of JF. I even promise to give you exclusive JF stuff that no other person will get to see. What more do you need? Perhaps a button, right? Hahaha. ;_; I don't have a button yet. But e-mail me at javantea@msn.com and I'll hook you up.
Okay, so you come here expecting me to pull a Megatokyo or something and you see that there's no Making Of. What's the deal? JF is daily, right? Not anymore! I'm doing JF Final Scene 1, so you get actual JF comic pages every other day. This is the third. I think you're getting a pretty good deal. I'm getting the raw end of the deal. Not only am I not getting paid, I haven't found a day job, and I'm working myself sick on JF. It's so terrible, I tell you. Every time things go wrong, things that used to be fine become huge problems. My worst problem is that things are not consistent. I did solve one problem. It was a naming conflict. I had a bone named DuctTape and an object named DuctTape. You can see the Duct Tape in the next to last box. Other things were not so easily solved. Another problem is the zoom factor of my 2d editor. I'm going to give that a work over, maybe connect it to the scroller. I played a little space war demo that used the scrolling extensively and I liked it half way. It doesn't seem like it would take much work since I made it object oriented and stuff.
Here's Page 3, the finale to Scene 1! News in thirty minutes or so... Until then, check out my live video documentary.
It's exactly like I said. I'm so happy that I'm smart enough to do something right. But a lot of it is endurance. A few times, my computer was acting crazy. A few other times, I was acting crazy. One of the features in today's today's page was done manually since I couldn't get it done automatically. Can you see it? It's the trail on the rock. It was supposed to be alpha blended, but wasn't supported by my software. It would only take a few hours to implement it, but that would have been two hours too much. I'm not much up for staying up until 2 AM working on this. I've been doing that for the last four days or so. Of course, I'm sleeping until noon, so it's not making me sleepy. It's making me angry, instead. If you know me, you know that I get moody. I an normally very smooth, cool-headed, and intelligent. From time to time, I go into my unintentional Mr. Hyde impression and I throw myself against walls, furniture, and abuse myself in worse ways. It often happens when I'm not well fed. It often happens when I am forced to talk about war. My lesson for the day: "Don't start none, won't be none!" If you don't want something to happen, don't start. If it is something that you do not control (drunk driver heading towards you), then the quote works double: don't drive. But what if someone crashes their car into your house? Well, that's just silly. But so is not driving because someone might wreck into you. The odds, really for either are so low. If either happens, call me and I'll give you a dollar for proving me wrong. Kraftwerk is most definately the best music in the world.
