Buses are operated by Connex Transport Jersey, a local subsidiary of Veolia Transportation.

In 2001, Tranz Rail's long-distance passenger operations, under the guise of Tranz Scenic, became a separate company ; Tranz Rail chose not to bid for the contract to run Auckland's rail services, and the contract was won by Connex ( now Veolia Transport Auckland ).

It is operated by Veolia Fast Ferries Zeeland, part of Connex.

Veolia Transport ( formerly Connex ) was the international transport services division of the French-based multinational company Veolia Environnement until the 2011 merger that gave rise to Veolia Transdev.

Veolia Transport traded under the brand names of Veolia Transportation in North America and Israel, Veolia Transport, Veolia Verkehr in Germany and with the former name Connex preserved in Lebanon and Jersey.

In summer 2008, it changed its trademark from Connex to Veolia Transport.

* Veolia Verkehr, former Connex Verkehr, offers train services, several of a regional character such as the Bayerische Oberlandbahn from Munich, and two long-distance services.

He franchised passenger rail services to private companies including Virgin, Connex ( now known as Veolia Transport ) and the coach companies Stagecoach and National Express, and floated the national railway track and signalling company Railtrack on the London Stock Exchange in 1996.

Australian-based Connex ( later renamed Veolia ) won the contract, and took over Tranz Metro's Auckland operation from 23 August 2004.

However, in mid-2004 Connex ( now Veolia New Zealand ) won the contract to run them-Tranz Metro did not tender.

The station serves Egged, Veolia ( formerly Connex ), Superbus, Metropoline, Afikim and Nateev Express intercity bus routes as well as local Dan, Egged and Kavim city and suburban buses.

Veolia Transport, formerly known as Connex Southtrans operates the local bus service.

A third railway connection to Beelitz and Berlin-Wannsee is provided by the private Veolia Verkehr company.

Unlike its sister companies DB Regio and DB Schenker Rail ( formerly Railion and before then DB Cargo ), DB Fernverkehr still holds a de-facto monopoly in its segment of the market as it operates hundreds of trains per day, while all competitors ' long-distance services ( Veolia Verkehr most notably ) combined amount to no more than 10-15 train per day.
