Besides the communities on the coast ( see: Bristol Bay ), the Alaska Peninsula also is home to several well-known villages: Cold Bay, King Cove, Perryville, Chignik, Chignik Lake, Chignik Lagoon, and Port Moller.

Attractions such as Suttons Beach, Redcliffe Jetty, Settlement Cove Lagoon, Redcliffe Museum, Redcliffe Botanic Gardens and Redcliffe Showgrounds are all within the suburb of Redcliffe.

Other notable areas within Marin Headlands include Kirby Cove, Rodeo Lagoon, and Tennessee Cove.
