Henry Stewart or Stuart, 1st Duke of Albany ( 7 December 1545 — 10 February 1567 ), styled Lord Darnley before 1565, was king consort of Scotland from 1565 until his murder at Kirk o ' Field in 1567.

In February 1567, Bothwell was one of those accused of having murdered the Queen's consort Lord Darnley.

Richard Rich, 1st Baron Rich ( 1496 / 7 – 12 June 1567 ), was Lord Chancellor during the reign of King Edward VI of England from 1547 until January 1552.

He obtained a reversal of his father's attainder in 1567 and served as Lord Chancellor of Scotland.

In 1567, his heirs sold it to Sir Wolstan Dixie, Lord Mayor of London, who never lived in Bosworth.

However, once James VI reached the age of majority, he was implicated in the murder of James ' father, Lord Darnley in 1567, and was executed in 1581.
