Barbara Olson ( December 27, 1955 September 11, 2001 ) was a lawyer and conservative American television commentator who worked for CNN, Fox News Channel, and several other outlets.
This led to a long-term MGM contract and a sequence of films, which included the musical The Glass Slipper ( 1955 ) and the drama Man with a Cloak ( 1956 ), with Joseph Cotten and Barbara Stanwyck.
The original Broadway production, which opened in 1955, was directed by Elia Kazan and starred Barbara Bel Geddes as Maggie ; Ben Gazzara as Brick ; Burl Ives as Big Daddy ; Mildred Dunnock as Big Mama ; Pat Hingle as Gooper ; and Madeleine Sherwood as Mae.
