Beth Allen ( Amber ) and Michael Wesley-Smith ( Jack ) had been cast in The Legend of William Tell in 1998 and many cast members from series 1 had acted in William Shatner ’ s A Twist in the Tale in 1999.

The pilot episode of the series, " Beachhead ", was remade years later in 1977 for another Quinn Martin series, A Twist in the Tale ( aka, Tales of the Unexpected ), where it was retitled " The Nomads ".

Her other work includes a lead role in the episode " The Green Dress " of the TV programme William Shatner's A Twist in the Tale in 1999 and guest parts in Xena: Warrior Princess and Revelations-The Initial Journey.

" In a Season One episode of Mad Men (" The Hobo Code "), Peggy Olsson and several other employees of Sterling Cooper dance to Chubby Checker's " The Twist.

The show features several actors from Spaced, while in one episode Manny is heard speaking to Twist Morgan, a character from Spaced.

He also appeared on Perry Mason in two memorable episodes: in 1962 he portrayed a small-town sculpturer in The Case of the Absent Artist ; in 1966 he appeared in the only color episode The Case of the Twice Told Twist as the ring leader of a car stripping ring.

On Saturday, December 14, 1996, General Hospital aired its one of three primetime episodes, General Hospital: Twist of Fate, which picked up where that Friday's episode had left off.
