Arbroath or Aberbrothock ( ) is a former royal burgh and the largest town in the council area of Angus in Scotland, and has a population of 22, 785.

This makes it the third largest town in Angus, after Arbroath ( 22, 785 ) and Forfar ( 13, 206 ), with Carnoustie in fourth place ( 10, 561 ).
