" Back to School " advertising and preparations usually occurs in the weeks leading to the start of the fall season.

" Twist and Shout " charted again, 16 years after the Beatles broke up, as a result of its prominent appearance in both this film and Back To School ( where Rodney Dangerfield performs a cover version ) which was released the same weekend as Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

The two-part episode " Darkly Dawns the Duck " originally aired as an hour-length TV special on September 7, 1991 as part of a larger TV special, " The Darkwing Duck Premiere and Back to School With the Mickey Mouse Club ".

A single entitled " Back to School ( Mini Maggit )" was released as a rap-influenced reinterpretation of White Pony's closing track, " Pink Maggit ".

White Pony was subsequently re-released with " Back to School ( Mini Maggit )" as the album's opening track.

Back, Stephens, Dorsey, Giddens-Steadham, Herfurth, Keeley, Pearson, Rowlett, Cullins-Lakepoint and Liberty Grove Elementary Schools, Coyle and Schrade Middle Schools, and Rowlett High School are located within the city boundaries of Rowlett.

Later, the band made an appearance playing their hit " Dead Man's Party " on stage in the film Back to School.

Bad Religion returned to a somewhat mellower, rock and roll version of their original sound with the Back to the Known EP.

To commemorate the band's 15th anniversary, the pillows re-released their 90's My Life EP with additional tracks and released a string of new material, including a new EP with re-recorded tracks previously published between 1990 and 1996, Turn Back, one document DVD, Walkin ' on The Spiral, one new studio album, Good Dreams, a new single, " Sono Mirai wa Ima " and finally a tribute album, Synchronized Rockers, including covers of the pillows plyaed by artists such as Mr. Children, Straightener and Noodles.

Before the release of their first studio album Tell All Your Friends ( 2002 ), they had released Taking Back Sunday EP in 2001, when the band featured former lead vocalist Antonio Longo.

With the new members, the five piece finished the Taking Back Sunday EP.

Steven Page and Ed Robertson returned to writing together, as they did upon the band's formation, but had abandoned following the release of Gordon, Tracks recorded for this album but left off the finished record are: " Trust Me " ( earlier recorded for Maybe You Should Drive but left off the album — included on the Shoe Box EP ) and " Back " ( included on the " Brian Wilson 2000 " single ).

Graham Parker and the Rumour appeared on BBC television's Top of the Pops in 1977, performing their version of The Trammps ' " Hold Back the Night " from The Pink Parker EP, a Top 30 UK hit in March 1977.

Promo copies of this EP, featuring the edited and full-length versions of the song Miss Black America as well as a " secret " track entitled Leopardprint Lives, were sent to press and radio ; the EP was never officially released but the edited version of Miss Black America featured on a 2000 Repeat Records compilation entitled It Takes A Nation Of Miltons To Hold Us Back, whilst Don't Speak My Mind was released as a 7 " single in October 2011 ( the other tracks from the EP have not been reissued ).

They produced an EP, Don't Be Looking Back in 1983, and two albums, Road of the Gypsy ( 1984 ) and American Heart ( 1986 ) both produced by Vini Poncia.

In addition, Graham Parker covered " Hold Back The Night " on the " The Pink Panther EP " in 1977, and reached # 20 in the UK Singles Chart, and Top 60 in the US.
