Newton-John's pop career cooled with the release of her next album, Clearly Love.

Clearly, Detour was a higher priority to PRC, and the release was well promoted in theaters with a full array of color print support, including a six sheet, standees, hand drawn portraits of the actors, and a jukebox tie-in record with Bing Crosby singing " I Can't Believe That You're in Love with Me ".

In 1975 Donna Summer recorded a song which she brought to her producer Giorgio Moroder entitled " Love to Love You Baby " which contained a series of simulated orgasms The song was never intended for release but when Moroder played it in the clubs it caused a sensation.

Of the previously unreleased songs, " Down to the Wire " features the New Orleans pianist Dr. John with Buffalo Springfield on an item from their shelved Stampede album ; " Love Is a Rose " was a minor hit for Linda Ronstadt in 1975 ; " Winterlong " received a cover by Pixies on the Neil Young tribute album from 1989, The Bridge ; and " Campaigner " is a Young song critical of Richard Nixon.

Parton had three number-one singles in 1974 (" Jolene ", " I Will Always Love You " and " Love is Like a Butterfly "), and a further chart-topper in 1975 with " The Bargain Store ".

He reunited twice with Katharine Hepburn for the television movies Love Among the Ruins ( 1975 ) and The Corn Is Green ( 1979 ).
