* 8 p. m. EDT: Come Together: A Night for John Lennon's Words and Music, a tribute to John Lennon that became a concert of prayer and healing for New York City to benefit the relief efforts, hosted by Kevin Spacey and featuring Dave Matthews, Moby, Stone Temple Pilots, Nelly Furtado, Shelby Lynne, Alanis Morissette, Cyndi Lauper, The Isley Brothers, Lou Reed, Marc Anthony, Natalie Merchant, Yolanda Adams, Sean Lennon and Yoko Ono, is held at Radio City Music Hall and simultaneously broadcast live on the TNT and WB networks.

Following the re-release of their album At First Sight, Violets Are Blue and the release of the Mushroom Soup: The Citadel Years in 2003, The Stems found themselves playing to packed houses across the country, touring Europe, playing the prestigious " Little Stevens Underground Garage Festival " in August 2005, and then at the " Come Together Festival " at Sydney ’ s Luna Park with the cream of Australia ’ s newest bands in September 2005.

The walrus is also mentioned in the songs " I Am the Walrus ", " Glass Onion " and " Come Together " by The Beatles.

The sessions are perhaps most famous for the three duets Dolphy performs with Richard Davis on " Alone Together ", " Ode To Charlie Parker ", and " Come Sunday ".

The folk-music-influenced album included John D. Loudermilk's " Tobacco Road " and Dino Valente's " Let's Get Together ", as well as original ballads " It's No Secret " and " Come Up the Years.

This was followed by another single, " Come Together ", which reached number 19.

Later in the year, Morrison also donated a previously unreleased studio track to a charity album, Hurricane Relief: Come Together Now, which raised money for relief efforts intended for Gulf Coast victims devastated by hurricanes, Katrina and Rita.

The Beatles are the first beneficiary of the new policy as their current 45 single featuring " Come Together " on one side, and " Something " on the other, accrue enough combined points to make the single a # 1 pop hit.

A concert in honor of Delp named Come Together: A Tribute to Brad Delp occurred on August 19, 2007 at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston.

In 2001 on national television, Sean performed several classics by The Beatles, " This Boy ", " Across the Universe " and " Julia " alongside Robert Schwartzman, Rufus Wainwright and Moby for Come Together: A Night for John Lennon's Words and Music.

" Come Together " is an annual Christmas concert, and " Kickin ' Country " is a country show featuring local acts.

In 1995, Noel performed on a cover of " Come Together " with Paul McCartney and Paul Weller under the guise of the Smokin ' Mojo Filters, recorded at Abbey Road for release on The Help Album.
