Muhammad and Fort
Muhammad Shah the then Mughal Emperor was able to contain Maratha raids by giving them Provinces as well as Monetary Tribute. The most catastrophic raids on the capital of Mughal Empire started in 1737 when Maratha Empire raided Delhi, this sent the whole Delhi populace into fear and Muhammad Shah the Mughal Emperor was ready to flee Red Fort in the case if Maratha decided to attack Red Fort.
In the year 1685 the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb dispatched his son Muhammad Azam Shah with a force of nearly 50, 000 men to capture Bijapur Fort and defeat Sikandar Adil Shah the ruler of Bijapur who refused to be a vassal.
The Mughals led by Muhammad Azam Shah could not make any advancements upon Bijapur Fort mainly due to the superior usage of cannon batteries on both sides.
On 29 September 1719, Prince Roshan Akhtar was given the title Abu Al-Fatah Naseer-ud-Din Roshan Akhtar Muhammad Shah and enthroned in the Red Fort.

When Sultan Fateh Muhammad was informed he reached this place with his soldiers.
He asked Ranjit Singh and his Generals to surrender which they did. As the sultan was in a temporary cease fire with Ranjit Singh he allowed them to go. Later on Sultan had to leave the Fort because of shortage of Food and Water. The Sultan was given 4 villages and 40tonnes of Salt annually by Ranjit Singh. Sultan Fateh Muhammad moved to HaranPur and stayed there for forty years and died in 1830. In 1850 this family moved to Lehr SultanPur.
During the reign of Mughal Emperor Jalal ud-Din Muhammad Akbar the Sultan of Bangala was Daud Khan Karrani, who had seized the Fort Zamania a frontier post of the Mughal Empire.
In 1192 CE when Muhammad Ghauri conquered parts of India, his Senapati, Qutubbudin surrounded Fort Barn and, with the help of traitors, was able to kill King Chandrasen Dor and in the process took control of the Barn kingdom.
