Drum and bass () ( also written as drum ' n ' bass and commonly abbreviated to D & B, D + B or DnB ) is a type of electronic music which emerged in the mid 1990s.

Drum and bass began as an offshoot of the United Kingdom rave scene of the very early 1990s.

Drum brakes are typically described as either leading / trailing or twin leading.

He would go on further over the next few years to produce more music under the Wagon Christ name, as well as introducing more aliases such as Plug ( drum and bass / jungle ), with the 1996 album ' Drum and Bass for Papa ' which gained critical acclaim.

Salmonella Dub is a Dub / Drum n Bass / Reggae / Roots band from Kaikoura, New Zealand.
