From 1987 to 1999, Dunlop was Senator of Queen ’ s University Belfast.

He settled in London in 1905 and married Margaret Dunlop in 1906.

Dunlop is a mild cheese or ' sweet-milk cheese ' from Dunlop in East Ayrshire, Scotland.
