The Children Act 1989 Guidance and Regulations, Volume 1, Court Orders produced by the President of the Family Division ( the leading judge of the Family Court, Dame Elizabeth Butler-Sloss ) and published by the Stationery Office in 1991 discussed shared orders in paragraph 2. 2 ( 8 ) at page 10: -

A year and a half later, in October 2000, she was also appointed to the Court of Appeal, becoming only the third female judge to sit on the Court of Appeal, after Dame Elizabeth Butler-Sloss ( now Baroness Butler-Sloss ) in 1988 and Dame Brenda Hale ( now Baroness Hale of Richmond ) in 1999.

While in Rome he had met Henry Petty-Fitzmaurice, 3rd Marquess of Lansdowne, through whom he met Henry Vassall-Fox, 3rd Baron Holland and his wife Elizabeth Fox, Baroness Holland, their London home, Holland House was the centre of the Whig Party ( Barry remained a lifelong supporter of the Liberal party, the successor to the Whig Party ), Barry was invited to the gatherings at the house, and there met many of the prominent members of the group ; this led to many of his subsequent commissions.

Born Ottoline Violet Anne Cavendish-Bentinck, she was the daughter of Lieutenant-General Arthur Cavendish-Bentinck and his wife, the former Augusta Mary Elizabeth Browne, later created Baroness Bolsover.

He married Lady Charlotte Elizabeth Boyle, 6th Baroness Clifford ( 1731 – 1754 ), the daughter and heiress of Richard Boyle, 3rd Earl of Burlington of the 1st creation, a famous architect and art collector.

His eldest daughter Evelyn Violet Elizabeth Rodd was a Conservative politician and was created a life peer as Baroness Emmet of Amberley in 1965.

In 1836 Mary Elizabeth was created Baroness Stratheden, of Cupar in the County of Fife, in recognition of her husband's withdrawal of his claim to the mastership of the rolls.

In 1840, at the urging of Garrison and Wendell Phillips, Lucretia Coffin Mott and Elizabeth Cady Stanton traveled with their husbands and a dozen other American male and female abolitionists to London for the first World's Anti-Slavery Convention, with the expectation that a motion put forward by Phillips to include women's participation in the convention would be controversial.

Eugenie is also the first British Princess since her grandmother's aunt, Princess Victoria Alexandra Alice Mary ( known as Princess Mary ), to bear the name Victoria ; Queen Victoria had requested that her female descendants bear the name Victoria somewhere in their name, however, neither Elizabeth II, the late Princess Margaret, Princess Alexandra, Princess Anne, nor Princess Beatrice hold the name Victoria.
