* Bray Studios creates the Farmer Al Falfa series, the first of the Terrytoons.

Terry first worked for Bray Studios in 1916, where he created the Farmer Al Falfa series.

He would then make a Farmer Al Falfa short for Edison Pictures, called " Farmer Al Falfa's Wayward Pup " ( 1917 ), and some later cartoons were made for Paramount Pictures.

Following the success of Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Paul Terry considered doing an animated feature film adaptation of King Lear starring Farmer Al Falfa.

Farmer Al Falfa was Terry's most familiar character in the 1930s ; Kiko the Kangaroo was spun off the Farmer Al Falfa series.

In it, a Farmer Al Falfa-esque Noah allows the animals of his ark to visit Luna Park.

This quartet structure remained the core of Mulligan's groups throughout the rest of the 1950s with sporadic personnel changes and expansions of the group with trumpeters Jon Eardley and Art Farmer, saxophonists Zoot Sims, Al Cohn and Lee Konitz, and vocalist Annie Ross.

The year 1915 brought Earl Hurd and Paul Terry ; the former became J. R. Bray's business partner and directed Bobby Bumps, the latter was employed under duress and directed Farmer Al Falfa.

A notable feud started between Al Cowens and Farmer early in the 1979 season.

He was editor of Wallaces ' Farmer from 1916 to 1921.
