United Kingdom band Gallows were signed to Warner Bros. Records for £ 1 million.

The band began recording demos for their next album at The Gallows Studio in Muncie, Indiana.

In the statement, George Pettit cited Dallas Green's departure from the band to focus solely on City and Colour, Wade MacNeil's departure to join another band, later revealed to be as the new vocalist for Gallows, and other personal issues among the remaining members as reasons for breaking up.

The band started a co-headlining tour with Hollywood Undead, Escape the Fate and The Sleeping in October, and as promotion of album debut songs like " Bleeding Is a Luxury " at K-Rockathon 14 in New York State Fairgrounds, Syracuse, New York., and " Gallows ".

" Staring At The Rude Boys " was covered by the US hardcore band Dag Nasty in 1987, and by the British hardcore punk band, Gallows, in 2007.

On 28 September 2007 Bizzle teamed up with the UK hardcore punk band, Gallows to perform a cover of The Ruts ' " Staring At The Rude Boys " on T4's Transmission programme.

The band is now signed to The End Records that released Hangman's Hymn and reissued re-mastered versions of Gallows Gallery and Imaginary Sonicscape with revamped artwork and bonus tracks.

* 1692 – Salem witch trials: Bridget Bishop is hanged at Gallows Hill near Salem, Massachusetts, for " certaine Detestable Arts called Witchcraft & Sorceries ".
