The game against Hemel was won convincingly by the Crusaders 50 – 10 with Tony Duggan being the first player to score a try for the Welsh franchise ( with Ryan O ' Kelly being the first Welshman to score a try ), and Jace Van Dijk was rewarded with the first Man Of The Match award.
