The Muslim League under Mohammed Ali Jinnah ( who was to become the creator of Pakistan ) had fared badly at the polls.

The numbers at Jinnah ’ s meetings, once counted in thousands soon numbered only a few hundreds.

Although further outraged at the League's boycott of the assembly and non-acceptance of the plan of 16 May despite entering government, he was also aware that Jinnah did enjoy popular support amongst Muslims, and that an open conflict between him and the nationalists could degenerate into a Hindu-Muslim civil war of disastrous consequences.

In June 2005, he drew much criticism when he, while on a visit to the Jinnah Mausoleum at Karachi-his town of birth, endorsed Mohammad Ali Jinnah and described him a " secular " leader.

Upon finishing his studies, he was called to the bar at Lincoln's Inn in the year 1953 ( the same school at which Muhammad Ali Jinnah studied law ).

During this time, Ali Khan and his wife joined Jinnah, with Ali Khan practicing the economical law and his wife joined the faculty of economics at the local college.

On December 25, Junoon had once again been embraced by the Pakistani government, and were even joined on stage by then the President, General Pervez Musharraf, as he invited them to perform at the mausoleum of Pakistan's founder, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, on Jinnah's birthday.

He felt differently about the Muslim leader Muhammed Ali Jinnah, but was aware of his power, stating " If it could be said that any single man held the future of India in the palm of his hand in 1947, that man was Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

In March 1940 Jinnah passed what would come to be known as the “ Pakistan Resolution ,” declaring “ Muslims are a nation according to any definition of a nation, and they must have their homelands, their territory and their State .” This state was to be known as Pakistan, meaning “ Land of the Pure .” Nehru angrily declared that “ all the old problems ... pale into insignificance before the latest stand taken by the Muslim League leader in Lahore .” Linlithgow made Nehru an offer on 8 October 1940.

During the period where all of the Congress leadership were in jail, the Muslim League under Jinnah grew in power.

With all the Muslim dominated provinces except the Punjab under Jinnah ’ s control, the artificial concept of a separate Muslim State was turning into a reality.

Other Muslim leaders, opposed both to Jinnah and to the partition of India, lost strength.

Once elected, Nehru headed an interim government, which was impaired by outbreaks of communal violence and political disorder, and the opposition of the Muslim League led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who were demanding a separate Muslim state of Pakistan.

Gandhi met Jinnah in September 1944 in Bombay but Jinnah rejected, on the grounds that it fell short of a fully independent Pakistan, his proposal of the right of Muslim provinces to opt out of substantial parts of the forthcoming political union.

But the Muslim League led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah won a large majority of Muslim electorate seats.

Vallabhbhai Patel was one of the first Congress leaders to accept the partition of India as a solution to the rising Muslim separatist movement led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The partition itself, according to leading politicians such as Mohammed Ali Jinnah, leader of the All India Muslim League, and Jawaharlal Nehru, leader of the Indian National Congress, should have resulted in peaceful relations.

Gokhale was also the role model and mentor of Mohammed Ali Jinnah, the future founder of Pakistan, who in 1912, aspired to become the " Muslim Gokhale ".

In May 2008, Wattoo, leader of the Pakistan Muslim League ( Jinnah ) and joined forces Pakistan People's Party.

Wattoo was the head of Pakistan Muslim League ( Jinnah ) political party in Punjab.

Jinnah however had greatly strengthened his own position and that of the League.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah espoused the Two Nation Theory and led the League to adopt the Lahore Resolution of 1940, demanding the formation of independent states in the East and the West of British India.

He also helped found the All India Home Rule League in 1916 – 18, with G. S. Khaparde and Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Annie Besant.

Having merged his political party, Pakistan Muslim League ( Jinnah ), in to the ruling PML ( Q ) on presidential advice, he was made the Senior Vice President of the ruling party.

The 1932 Communal Award which seemed to threaten the position of Muslims in Hindu-majority provinces catalysed the resurgence of the Muslim League, with Jinnah as its leader.

His brother, Dr. Khan Abdul Jabbar Khan ( known as Dr. Khan Sahib ), led the political wing of the movement, and was the Chief Minister of the province ( from the late 1920s until 1947 when his government was dismissed by Mohammad Ali Jinnah of the Muslim League ).

However, within Pakistan, there is a large section of society which still has not come to grips with his siding with the All India Congress over the Muslim League as well as his opposition to Mr. M. A. Jinnah who is revered in Pakistan as the father of the nation.

Mookerjee was a political leader who felt the need to counteract the communalist and separatist Muslim League of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who were demanding either exaggerated Muslim rights or a Muslim state of Pakistan.

This convention was host to such Muslim League luminaries as Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Liaquat Ali Khan, Chaudhry Naseer Ahmad Malhi, Khawaja Nazim-ud-Din, Sardar Abd-ur-Rab Nishtar, Mumtaz Ahmad Khan Daultana, Nawab Iftikhar Hussain Khan Mamdot and Maulvi Tamiz-ud-Din.

From the onset of independence, Pakistan was led by its founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his Muslim League party.

However in 1997 just after 2years both had differences and it was not long before Nawab Sardar Mushtaq Ahmed Khan Malazai parted ways and joined Pakistan Muslim League ( N ) It merged with PML-Q in 2004.

Prior to his return to India, Ali Khan rose to prominence and was also the influential member of the Muslim League led under Mohammad Ali Jinnah, advocating and determining to eradicate the injustices and ill treatment meted out to the Indian Muslims by the British government, and rose as the influential and later was one of the principle Founding Fathers of Pakistan.
