The band formed in 1988 when Juha Lehti and Juha Saaresaho got acquainted while working at the Myyrmäki Youth Centre.

Two new members were asked to join, Olli-Pekka Törrö ( guitars, Eternal Tears of Sorrow ) and Juha Kylmänen ( vocals, Reflexion ), and the band started recording their debut album in 2001.

The members of the original band were Juha Torvinen ( guitar ), Mikko Saarela ( bass ), Aku Syrjä ( drums ), and brothers Martti Syrjä ( vocals ) and Mikko " Pantse " Syrjä ( guitar ).

Juha Kylmänen ( from For My Pain and Reflexion ) then assumed the vocals of To / Die / For.

The judging panel included Finnish guitarist Juha Torvinen, and prizes included a custom made ' Flying Finn ' guitar and VOX BM Special amplifier donated by Queen guitarist Brian May.

The release of Il Capitano: A Swedish Requiem ( Il Capitano, 1991 ) became controversial since the film is based upon a true story ; the brutal murder of a Swedish family just a few years earlier ( see Juha Valjakkala ).

Helminen has been assistant coach of Ilves since late parts of 2009-10 season, when Juha Pajuoja got the job as the head coach.

Juha Kuivanen has been the artistic director of the choir since May 2004.

Mikkola has made brief appearances since then, including re-uniting with his co-driver Gunnar Palm for the 25th anniversary run of the 1970 London to Mexico World Cup Rally ( Mikkola won the original 1970 event and the 1995 re-run ) and competing in the London-Sydney Marathon 2000 Rally, re-united with his 1968 1000 Lakes Rally winning Ford Escort RS1600 and co-driven by his oldest son, Juha Mikkola, founder of Canada Cup ( floorball ).

A tweaked version of the HF dominated the World Rally Championship, scoring 46 WRC victories overall and winning the Constructors Championship a record six times in a row from 1987 to 1992, in addition to Drivers ' Championship titles for Juha Kankkunen ( 1987 and 1991 ) and Miki Biasion ( 1988 and 1989 ).

The inaugural cast included all the eight world rally champions from 1979 to 1988 ; Björn Waldegård, Walter Röhrl, Ari Vatanen, Hannu Mikkola, Stig Blomqvist, Timo Salonen, Juha Kankkunen and Miki Biasion.

In another case in Sweden, the 1988 Åmsele murders, the girlfriend was sentenced to two years for doing nothing to prevent Juha Valjakkala from committing a triple murder.

He is well known for writing computer game reviews since the 1980s in MikroBitti, C = Lehti and the computer game yearbooks that were predecessors of the Pelit magazine.

Since 1994, a new version of the band has toured, with Parsons performing live acoustic guitar, keyboards and vocals, with various lineups.

Wills formed several bands and played radio stations around the South and West until he formed the Texas Playboys in 1934 with Wills on fiddle, Tommy Duncan on piano and vocals, rhythm guitarist June Whalin, tenor banjoist Johnnie Lee Wills, and Kermit Whalin, who played steel guitar and bass.

The Jenerators are a blues-rock band based in Los Angeles, CA featuring Tom Hebenstreit on vocals, electric guitars and keyboards ; Bill Mumy on vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, harmonica, keyboards, and percussion ; Gary Stockdale on vocals and bass ; Miguel Ferrer on vocals, percussion and drums ; David Jolliffe on guitar, percussion and vocals and Chris Ross on drums and percussion.

Neil Finn ( vocals, guitar, piano ) and drummer Paul Hester ( ex-The Cheks, Deckchairs Overboard ) were former members of New Zealand band Split Enz, which spent part of 1975-6 in Australia and several years in England.

The original band lineup consisted of Jello Biafra ( Eric Reed Boucher ) on vocals, East Bay Ray on guitar, Klaus Flouride ( Geoffrey Lyall ) on bass, and Ted ( Bruce Slesinger ) on drums and percussion.
