Anti-Pasti are a British punk band, founded by vocalist Martin Roper and guitarist Dugi Bell in 1978, featuring Kev Nixon on drums and Will Hoon on bass guitar.

Martin recruited Dave Fanning ( ex-Innocent Bystander ) as bass player, along with a revolving line-up of musicians ( which included John Soares, Kev Apostle, Flump, Chris Low ( ex-Political Asylum ) and Olly Bucket ( Eat Shit ) ) in order to continue the group who went on to play numerous concerts in the London area, and to record 8 demo cassettes and 4 7 " singles between 1982 and 1984.

Apart from the infamous appearance of several of Kenton's streets in one episode of the cult BBC TV series " Fawlty Towers " starring John Cleese, the only known reference to Kenton in modern popular culture is the song " Kenton Kev ", by the Berlin-based punk-jazz band The Magoo Brothers on their album " Beyond Believable ", released on the Bouncing Corporation label in 1988.

Jeff Christie reformed the band in 1990 with members of UK band Tubeless Hearts, Kev Moore, Simon Kay and Adrian ' Fos ' Foster.

The band reformed in 2012, with a line up of Martin Roper ( Vocals ), Ollie Hoon ( Lead Guitar ), Kev Nixon ( Drums ) and new member Ben Hanson ( Bass ).

In 2007, Hewings and Boag formed the band The Orphans with drummer Kev ( since replaced by Paul Emons ) and producer / keyboardist Tim Howarth.

Cecilia also made a promotional visit to the UK in September 2004, being interviewed and promoted by her then-publicist Kev Atkinson, resulting in further interest from record companies around the UK in addition to airplay on various North East radio stations.

" Elly " is a cover of Kev Carmody's song from Carmody's 1990 album, Eulogy ( For a Black Person ), which was produced by Connolly.

The line-up that recorded their first album For All We Shared ... in 1998 was Bryan Josh, Heather Findlay ( who had replaced founding member Heidi Widdop ), Iain Jennings, Liam Davison, Bob Faulds, Stuart Carver, Kev Gibbons and Allan Scott.

On their second album The Spirit of Autumn Past, Allan Scott and Kev Gibbons were replaced by Rob McNeil and Angela Gordon respectively.

Midnighter featured in the first three of Garth Ennis's Kev miniseries, featuring Kev Hawkins, a former SAS soldier.

His work with Awol One on Souldoubt in 2001 saw Daddy Kev return to a more conventional underground hip hop context.

October 2006 saw the release of Terrain to Roam and featured production from Madlib, Dntel ( aka Jimmy Tamborello ), Daedelus, Nobody, Daddy Kev, Paris Zax, Thavius Beck, Omid, dDamage, Crunc Tesla, and Small Is Beautiful ( aka J ' Aime Tambeur ) of Islands, among others.

These longer strips include The Bash Street Kids Adventures written and drawn by Kev F Sutherland which since 2004 have featured parodies of famous comic strip images, including Amazing Fantasy's first Spider-Man cover, Action Comics ' first Superman cover, and most recently the cover of X Men # 100.

As explained by Kevie Kev in the book Yes Yes Yall, Prince Whipper Whip felt it necessary to keep his Afro-Puerto Rican background a secret in order to gain more positive acceptance.

The wisecracking Kev has to reluctantly look the other way when Darian enters the picture, well aware of Tommy's relationship with her which he doesn't approve of.

These were often drawn by Mike Pearce and Kev F. Sutherland though in the late 2000s they were moved into the comic's sister publication BeanoMAX where they were drawn by Nigel Parkinson.

Under Kev F. Sutherland, Plug took a more dominant role, often being the main character in stories.

Cuthbert's character appears to have changed slightly in recent years ; he is still seen as a swot and is still as bright as ever, but ( particularly in longer strips by the likes of Mike Pearse and Kev F. Sutherland ) he is sometimes shown to be ' one of the gang ' and occasionally appears as part of the Kids ' ' team ' ( contrary to earlier strips where he never seemed to like the other kids ), sometimes coming up with intelligent plans to aid their cause or save the school.

After a year, Wayne disappeared, having never featured in a Singled Out story or any of Kev F Sutherland's Bash Street Kids ' Adventures stories.

In recent years, Mike Pearse and Kev F. Sutherland ( no relation to David Sutherland ) have also occasionally drawn the strip, particularly in long stories.

The success of Yothu Yindi — winners of eight ARIA Awards — was followed in by Kev Carmody, Tiddas, Christine Anu, and numerous other Indigenous Australian musicians.

Indigenous Australian music is unique, as it dates back more than 60, 000 years to the prehistory of Australia and continues the ancient songlines through contemporary artists as diverse as: David Dahwurr Hudson, Jimmy Little, Warumpi Band, Yothu Yindi, Tiddas, Wild Water, Christine Anu, Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu, Saltwater Band, Nabarlek, Nokturnl, the Pigram Brothers, Coloured Stone, Blekbala Mujik, Kev Carmody, Archie Roach and Ruby Hunter.

Later moving to El Paso in 1996, he briefly played with the Country / Western group Bill & Kev & War Party.
