Lemmy Lindström left the band in 2008 and has since been featured on bands and projects like Saturn Twilight, Progeland and Corvus Stone.

Lemmy collects Nazi memorabilia, and has an Iron Cross encrusted on his bass, which has led to accusations of Nazi sympathies.

Vicious asked Lemmy, the bassist of Motörhead, to teach him how to play bass with the words, " I can't play bass ," to which Lemmy replied " I know.

Similar to Mascis's guitar work, Barlow's bass lines, with its alternating heavily distorted, fast chords and pulverizing lows, draw heavily from both his hardcore past and is influenced by musicians such as Lemmy from Motörhead and Johnny Ramone.

This is the only album to feature the band's original line-up of Lemmy on vocals and bass, Larry Wallis on guitar and vocals, and Lucas Fox on drums.

Dee and Campbell didn't realise that " Out of the Sun " was only two and half verses and had rehearsed it as such so Lemmy added another section when nobody else was around, with him playing bass and Jamie, his guitar roadie, playing guitar, he then gave the others a tape of it — when Würzel played it in the rental car, Lemmy says he nearly drove off the road.

Upon leaving school and with his family relocated in Conwy, Lemmy undertook menial jobs including working at the local Hotpoint factory while also playing guitar for local bands, such as The Sundowners, and spending time at a horse riding school.

Lemmy has occasionally played electric or acoustic guitar, notably on the acoustic song " I Ain't No Nice Guy " from Motörhead's March Ör Die album, the title track on 1996's Overnight Sensation, " Limb from Limb " on Overkill ( on which he plays the second lead break ), " Boogeyman " on Rock ' n ' Roll, and a mouth harp on " Whorehouse Blues " from the Inferno album.

After the release of Grande Rock which featured additional guitar playing from both Lindström and Hellberg Robert Dahlqvist was hired as a full-time lead guitarist in 1999.

Due to the absence of a second guitarist, Lindström and Hellberg both contributed on guitar.

In 1996 he won the Finnish Rally Championship in a Volkswagen Golf GTi and in 1999 he won the British Rally Championship with a Renault Mégane Maxi twinned with fellow Finn, Kaj Lindström.
