The original members were Ron Keel on vocals, David Michael Phillips on guitar, Marc Ferrari on lead & rhythm guitars, Bobby Marks on drums and Kenny Chaisson on bass guitar.

This was the last album to feature guitarists Marc Ferrari and Brian Jay, as they left the band a year later.

In 2009, the guitar tracks on Destiny Street were re-recorded and released as Destiny Street Repaired, with guitarists Marc Ribot, Bill Frisell, and Ivan Julian playing with the original rhythm tracks.

The band made their public debut in a one-off performance in April 1973, and featured Robert Smith ( piano ), Michael " Mick " Dempsey ( guitar ), Laurence " Lol " Tolhurst ( percussion ), Marc Ceccagno ( lead guitar ) and Alan Hill ( bass guitar ).

The Choir is an atmospheric Christian alternative rock band, led by Derri Daugherty on guitar and vocals, Steve Hindalong on drums — who also writes most of the band's lyrics — along with Tim Chandler on bass guitar, Dan Michaels on saxophone and lyricon and Marc Byrd on guitar ( since 2005 ).

The lineup has shifted around them, and currently consists of members " Fresh Prince of Darkness " ( aka Marc Diamond from the band Motochrist ) on guitar, " Chip Fracture " on bass and backing vocals and returning drummer Gregory Pecker ( aka Gnarlie Watts ).

In 1978 Wilson compered the new wave afternoon at Deeply Vale Festivals ; this was actually the fourth live appearance by the fledgling Durutti Column and that afternoon Wilson also introduced an appearance ( very early in their career ) by The Fall featuring Mark E. Smith and Marc " Lard " Riley on bass guitar.
