About down the inlet, west from the town and the head of the inlet, is the mouth of a side-inlet from the north, Moses Inlet, which is fed by the Clyak River and which itself has a western side-inlet named Hardy Inlet, in length.

Moses Hardy ( January 6, 1893 / 1894 – December 7, 2006 ) was, at age 112 or 113, the last black veteran of World War I and one of the last surviving American veterans of that war.

The Hardy family was a deeply religious one, and Moses would later recount that Exodus 20: 12, which instructed one to honor their parents, was his favorite Bible passage and one which he lived by.

Yet in Luz's view the contours appear, in part, strangely overlapped and inverted: " Egypt, formerly the land of suppression becomes a place of refuge and it is the King of Israel who now takes on the role of Pharaoh ... Matthew is not simply retelling the Moses story .. Instead, the story of Jesus really is a new story: Jesus is at once the new Moses and the inverse of Moses.

David Brandt Berg ( 18 February 1919-1 October 1994 ), frequently known by the pseudonym Moses David, was the founder and leader of the new religious movement formerly called Children of God, now called " The Family International ".

" The date of his sojourn in Egypt in his last incarnation is not now known, but it has been fixed at the early days of the oldest dynasties of Egypt, long before the days of Moses.

His father, Moses ben Asher, is credited with writing the Cairo Codex of the Prophets ( 895CE ); if authentic, it is among the oldest manuscripts containing a large proportion of the Hebrew Bible.

The oldest examples of usufruct are found in the Code of Hammurabi and the Law of Moses.

The oldest document of the community is dated 1831, during the rabbinate of Moses Teitelbaum, of whom the story is told that Lajos Kossuth, afterward leader of the Hungarian Revolution of 1848, when suffering from an infantile sickness, was brought to him, and that the rabbi blessed the child and, referring to the word " ḳosheṭ " in Psalm lx.
