Gerard Hengeveld ( 7 December 1910, Kampen-October 28, 2001, Bergen, North Holland ) was a Dutch classical pianist, music composer and educationalist.

Having first worked in Bergen and Leipzig he was the scientific director of the North Polar expedition of Roald Amundsen aboard the Maud from 1918 to 1925.

The beginning of eastbound NJ 495 at the New Jersey TurnpikeRoute 495 officially begins at the Exit 16E off-ramp of the northbound lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike near the boundary of Secaucus and North Bergen.

The main roadway heads east through North Bergen as a freeway with three lanes in the eastbound direction and two lanes in the westbound direction.

The Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey, which served 935 students in nursery through eighth grade as of 2006, was founded as the Yeshiva of Hudson County, and was re-established in Bergen County in 1979.

Guttenberg is located atop the Hudson Palisades, south of Woodcliff and the Racetrack Section in North Bergen and north of West New York.

Guttenberg was formed as a town on March 9, 1859, from portions of North Bergen Township.

So wrote a ten year old student in a letter to his parents from North Country School, Lake Placid, New York.

In 2009, the North Carolina Department of Transportation began widening 1. 1 miles of U. S. 421 ( King Street ) to a four to six-lane divided highway with a raised concrete median from U. Traveling north to south, the first neighborhood, the " North Residential Neighborhood ", has high-rise residential buildings, a large hotel, Stuyvesant High School, a movie theater and a modern branch of the New York Public Library.

The youngest son of William Edward Parkinson ( 1871 – 1927 ), an art master at North East County School and from 1913 principal of York School of Arts and Crafts, and his wife, Rose Emily Mary Curnow ( born 1877 ), the young Parkinson attended St. Peter's School, York, where in 1929 he won an Exhibition to study history at Emmanuel College at the University of Cambridge.

After graduating from the Great Neck North High School, he entered Hofstra University in 1955 majoring in theater arts.

Also named after him and his son is George Stephenson High School in Killingworth, Stephenson Memorial Primary School in Howdon, the Stephenson Railway Museum in North Shields and the Stephenson Locomotive Society.

Between 1961 and 1963, while an undergraduate student, North became acquainted with the works of Austrian School economists Ludwig von Mises, F. A.

There are commemorative sites to Kennedy in Berlin, such as the German-American John F. Kennedy School and the John F. Kennedy Institute for North American Studies of the Free University of Berlin.

Hayden currently attends Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts.

During his early education, he attended The Pike School ( where his mother taught art ) and enrolled in the Brooks School ( where his father taught ) for one year in North Andover, Massachusetts.

He attended North West Division High School in Chicago playing football and also running track.

Here he introduced a new kind of education and attitude later known as Second Chicago School, which became very influential in the following decades in North America and Europe.

Originally established as the Wrexham School of Science and Art in 1887, it was until the name change known as the North East Wales Institute or " NEWI ".

In 1787, he was admitted to the bar, and moved to Jonesborough, in what was then the Western District of North Carolina.

Following this ruling, Alford petitioned for a writ of habeas corpus in the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, which upheld the initial ruling, and subsequently to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit which ruled that Alford's plea was not voluntary, because it was made under fear of the death penalty.
