In 1919, the Ernest M. Skinner & Company was reorganized with Arthur H. Marks ( who had amassed a fortune as the former General Manager and Vice-President of the Goodrich Rubber Company ) as the President and Skinner as Vice-President of the newly organized Skinner Organ Company.

The Great Stalacpipe Organ of Luray Caverns, Virginia, USA uses 37 stalactites to produce the Western scale.

The Spreckels Organ was designed by Ernest M. Skinner and is on display in San Francisco, California, USA at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor, a three-quarter scale replica of Paris's Palais de la Légion d ' Honneur, that looks like a Roman temple overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
