On January 16, 2009, it was announced that several Pappas stations, including WCWG, would be sold to New World TV Group, after the sale received United States bankruptcy court approval.

This new network also began airing on the digital subchannels of selected stations owned by Belo Corporation, Sunbeam Television, Hearst Television, Tribune Broadcasting and ComCorp, as well as selected stations then-owned by Pappas Telecasting Companies that were sold to the New World TV Group ( d / b / a Titan Broadcast Group ), upon its launch.

Eventually, the New World TV Group formed a new holding company known as the Titan Broadcast Group ( unrelated to the similarly named smaller-market radio station owner Titan Broadcasting ), which completed its purchase of most of the Pappas stations involved in the bankruptcy on October 15, 2009.

In January 2009, the Pappas stations involved in the bankruptcy auction, including KAZH, were sold to New World TV Group, after the sale received United States bankruptcy court approval.

In 1989, the Garland Publishing Company brought out a 15-volume collection of major works on Berkeley ; Pappas ' paper “ Abstract ideas and the ' esse is percipi ' thesis ” was included in the third volume, as it was considered to be a significant contribution to Berkeley scholarship.
