Starcraft ( foaled 21 October 2000 in New Zealand ) is an Australian-owned Thoroughbred racehorse who came to international attention when he won the Group 1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Newmarket in England in September 2005.

He proved this was no fluke, and that he was the dominant miler in Europe, when winning the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes which was held at Newmarket because Ascot was being refurbished at the time.

The King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot was also won by four lengths.

However, the seal of Ribot's greatness were his two victories in the Prix de l ' Arc de Triomphe by three lengths ( 1955 ) and a six-length rout from an exceptionally strong field ( 1956-though photographs of the finish make it closer to eight and a half lengths ) and his only run in England, where he scored a five-length win on the soft Ascot ground in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes ( 1956 ).
