He moved to Damascus, in the Midan District, near the tomb of Sa ` d ad-Din Jibawi, a saint from the family of the Prophet.

-It was narrated from Abu Sa ` eed that the Prophet Muhammad forbade building structures over graves.

The Huaisheng Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in the world, built by Muhammad's maternal uncle, Sa ` d ibn Abi Waqqas.

Sa ` ad ibn Abi Waqqas along with three Sahabas, namely Suhayla Abuarja, Uwais al-Qarni ( 594-657 ), and Hassan ibn Thabit ( 554-674 ), went to China from Persia in 637 for the second time and returned by the Yunan-Manipur-Chittagong route, then reached Arabia by sea.

Some date the introduction of Islam in China to 650 AD which is the instance of third sojourn of Sad ibn abi Waqqas to China, Sa ` ad ibn Abi Waqqas, was sent as an official envoy to Emperor Gaozong which was his third sojourn during Caliph Uthman's era in 651 AD.

The embassy was led by Sa ` d ibn Abī Waqqās, the maternal uncle of Muhammad himself.

Guangzhou is home to four mosques, including the famous Huaisheng Mosque believed to have been built by Sa ` d ibn Abi Waqqas, the uncle of Muhammad.

In 915CE, Sa ' adya Gaon left for Palestine, where, according to al-Masʿūdī ( Tanbīh, 113 ), he perfected his education at the feet of Abū ' l-Kathīr Yaḥyā ibn Zakariyyāʾ al-Katib al-Tabari ( d. 320 / 932 ).

Following Dumas's lead in his preface, Eugène d ' Auriac ( de la Bibliothèque Royale ) in 1847 was able to write the biography of d ' Artagnan: d ' Artagnan, Capitaine-Lieutenant des Mousquetaires – Sa vie aventureuse – Ses duels – etc.

Tabari, the most famous Muslim historian, in his Ta ' rikh quotes from Muhammad Bin Sa ' ad Bin Abi Waqqas, who said: " I asked my father whether Abu Bakr was the first of the Muslims.

When the Arab commander Sa ` d ibn Abi Waqqas faced the huge Iranian library of Ctesiphon ( Sassanian Capital City ) at the time, he wrote to Umar: What should be done about the books, Umar replied that the “ blasphemous ” books are not needed, as for us only Quran is sufficient.

After Prophet Mohammad's ( صلى الله عليه واله وسلم ) death Hassan was supposed to have traveled east as far as China, preaching for Islam along with Sa ` d ibn Abi Waqqas, Thabit ibn Qays, and Uwais al-Qarni.

Old Chinese Muslim manuscripts state that the mosque was built by Sa ` d ibn Abi Waqqas who was an uncle of Prophet Muhammad, and supposedly came on his first Muslim mission to China in the 650s.

Although modern secular scholars don't find any historical evidence that Sa ` d ibn Abi Waqqas actually visited China, they agree that the first Muslims must have arrived to China within the 7th century, and that the major trade centers, such as Guangzhou, Quanzhou, and Yangzhou probably already had their first mosques built during the Tang Dynasty, even though no reliable sources attesting to their actual existence has been found so far.

He died aged seventy nine in 673 AD ( 51 AH ) and was buried by Sa ` d ibn Abi Waqqas and the son of Umar.

Halimah bint Abi Dhuayb Abdullah ibn Al-Harith ibn Shagna ibn Jaber ibn Razam ibn Nasera ibn Faseya ibn Nasr ibn Sa ' ad ibn Bakr ibn Hawazen ibn Mansour ibn Ikrima ibn Khasfah ibn Qays ibn ' Ilan best known as Halimah al-Sa ‘ diyah () was the foster-mother and wetnurse of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

Nafi ibn al-Harith bin Kalada al-Thaqafi ( in Arabic نافع بن الحارث بن كلدة الثقفي ) ( died 670 AD ) was an Arab physician of the Banu Thaqif and was recommended by prophet Muhammad and treated Sa ` d ibn Abi Waqqas, and when Abu Bakr was dying, he designated his illness as poisoning.
