For example in a 1987 videotape called " Sign Me a Story ", Linda Bove ( from Sesame Street ) introduces herself but realizing that she's deaf, she needs help from interpreter / voice-over Elaine Bromka and tells her that maybe some people didn't understand what she just said and Elaine says " Why don't we start again?

In 2002, low ratings in part prompted the now-renamed Sesame Workshop to pull out and sell its interest in Noggin to Viacom.
This United States-based television channel aimed at preschool-aged children, originally launched as a joint venture between MTV Networks and Children's Television Workshop ( a. k. a. Sesame Workshop ) before Sesame Workshop opted out of the venture in 2002, has only programming promotions in lieu of commercials and is usually carried on a digital cable tier and the basic tiers of satellite providers.
