Huang Yueying ( Wade-Giles spelling: Huang Yueh-ying ) is the fictional name of the wife of Zhuge Liang, the chancellor of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history.

Goldmoon ( also known as Goldmoon of the Que Shu tribe or just Goldmoon of the Que Shu ) is a fictional character from the Dragonlance fantasy series of novels and role playing games, originally published by TSR, Inc. and later by Wizards of the Coast.

Different novels and short stories agree that her parents are Arrowthorn, Chieftain of the Que Shu — a tribe located in the plains of Abanasinia, a desolate area in the central western area of Ansalon in the fictional world of Krynn — and Tearsong, deceased high priestess of the tribe.

To further distinguish these states from other historical Chinese states of the same name, historians add a relevant character: Wei is also known as Cao Wei ( 曹魏 ), Shu is also known as Shu Han ( 蜀漢 ), and Wu is also known as Eastern Wu ( 東吳 ).

The house Honinbo ( 本因坊 ) had no such tradition, although heads would often take one character from the name of their predecessor into their own name, notably the character Shu ( 秀 ) from the 14th head onward.

In Bo Yang's Modern Chinese Edition of Sima Guang's Zizhi Tongjian, for example, Bo cited seven different and discordant views of Jiang's career — ranging from ringing endorsements of his recklessness and loyalty for the sake of Shu ( Pei Songzhi ( 裴松之 ), commentator to the Records of Three Kingdoms ) to criticism of his constant draining campaigns ( Chen Shou, author of Records of Three Kingdoms ) to outright condemnation ( Sun Sheng ( 孫盛 ), author of the Spring and Autumn Annals of Jin ), each of which could be considered a potentially valid view of his complicated character.

Shumaker's impression on the cartoonist was so profound that MacNelly created the comic strip Shoe after " Shu ," and the strip's lead character is based upon him.

The latter is more action oriented, and follows a player-created character, rather than Shu.

After initial victories, a series of strategic mistakes due to the impetuosity of Liu leads to the cataclysmic defeat of Shu Han in the Battle of Xiaoting.

The five members starred as the Five Tiger Generals of Shu in the TV series K. O. 3an Guo, a parody of Romance of the Three Kingdoms in a modern-day setting.

The unlockable kingdoms in the game include the Wu, Shu, and Wei Kingdoms, and unlockable characters include warlords who were defeated in the book that the game series is based on, Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Zhuge Liang's Northern Expeditions were a series of five military campaigns launched by the state of Shu Han against the rival state of Cao Wei from 228 to 234 during the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history.

Though one of the kid's faces is not shown, it appears that the kid who is shown, is none other than Shu, the star of the anime series.

Thus all differences were leveled, and all contrasts erased, in a realm of no distinction, and the harmonious balance of the Lo Shu square could effectively symbolize the world in balanced harmony around a powerful central axis.

Furthermore, the Han Shu " Yiwen zhi " ( Monograph on literature ) lists a text Zhuangzi, showing that a text with this title existed no later than the early 1st century CE, again pre-dating Guo Xiang by centuries.

Since Zhuge Jin's younger brother, Zhuge Liang, was the most trusted officer under Liu Bei, someone told Sun Quan that Zhuge Jin was colluding with the forces of Shu Han, however, Sun Quan openly announced that no matter what the rumor said, Zhuge Jin would not betray him, just as he would never betray Zhuge Jin.

From that point on, Shu was generally in a defensive posture and no longer posed a threat to Wei.

Jiang Wei was interested in resuming Zhuge Liang's policies of attacking Wei aggressively, a strategy that Fei Yi partially agreed with — as he allowed Jiang Wei to make raids on Wei's borders, but never gave him a large amount of troops, reasoning that Shu was in no position for a major military confrontation with Wei.

These campaigns instead had a detrimental effect on Shu, whose government no longer had the efficiency that it had during Zhuge Liang's and Jiang Wan's regencies, and therefore was unable to cope with the drain of resources that Jiang Wei's campaigns were having.

After defeating Zhuge Zhan there, Deng Ai had virtually no Shu troops left between his army and the capital Chengdu.

Although no copies of early genealogies are extant today, fragments have been preserved by famed Chinese historian Ouyang Xiu in the 11th century work Xin Tang Shu.
