Students of the college who are candidates for the A.B. degree and can satisfy the academic requirements of the medical and business schools, may enter either of these associated schools at the beginning of senior year, thus completing the two-year postgraduate course in one year.

Students completing college earn the Diplôme d ' études collégiales, sometimes with other designations attached to this title.

Students completing high school in three ( 3 ) years or less must be in the last or next-to-last year of high school when they take the test.

Students completing degree programmes written and developed by LASALLE and validated by OUVS will receive a parchment jointly bearing the name and seal of LASALLE and The Open University, clearly identifying LASALLE as the provider and The Open University bring validation equivalent to UK MA, BA ( Hons ) or DipHE ( Diploma in Higher Education ).

Students can demonstrate their English ability either by taking the TOEFL test, or by completing an ESL program at a school with which El Camino College has a transfer agreement.

Students at Oxford automtically continue their studies in Atlanta after successfully completing Oxford's curriculum.

Students of the Juris Doctor ( JD ) program are involved in preparing and publishing the Harvard Law Review, one of the most renowned university law reviews, as well as a number of other law journals and an independent student newspaper.

Students could also pursue their MSW degrees in combination with either a Master of Health Science or a Juris Doctor.

Students in Doctor of Psychology programs receive extensive clinical training through placements in various settings ( e. g., community mental health centers, hospitals, college counseling centers ).

Students graduate with both a Juris Doctor ( JD ) degree and a Master of Business Administration ( MBA ) degree.

Students now complete 5 years of academical work and 1 year of clinical practice to earn their Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

Students wishing to achieve the Doctor of Medicine degree may enter during the premedical program during one of the three premedical sciences years, or the four-year medical program beginning with the first year of Basic Sciences, which is when most students from North America begin.

Students pursuing the Doctor of Medicine degree begin study in Grenada or in the UK at the Keith B. Taylor Global Scholars Program.

Students must first complete a basic degree in law, such as the Bachelor of Laws ( LLB ), Juris Doctor ( JD ) or convert from another first degree with the Common Professional Examination ( CPE ).

Students also pursue professional degrees, such as Juris Doctor, immediately after graduating.

Students have created areas of concentration ranging from " 20th Century American Literature " and " Adaptive Physical Education for Vulnerable Populations ," to " World Politics and Social Change " and " Zoological Photography.

Students who complete a prescribed course of study at MEC are granted preferred acceptance into four SUNY Downstate Medical Center degree programs: Physician Assistant Program, Physical Therapy Program, Diagnostic Medical Imaging Program, and Occupational Therapy Program.

Students in the Upper Division are required to study English, World History, United States History, Biology, Chemistry and / or Physics, Geometry, Algebra II and Trigonometry, and also meet various requirements in the Arts, Computer Science, Health & Counseling, and Physical Education.

There are dozens of student clubs and organizations, mostly professional, such as Public Relations Student Society of America ( PRSSA ), Student Government, The English Society, Accounting Society, Criminal Justice Club, OPTS ( Organization of Physical Therapy Students ), OOTS ( Organization of Occupational Therapy Students ), the Organization of Student Nurses, Outdoors Club, Student Newspaper, Husson University Theatre, GAMERS, GBLT on RYE, Technology Club, Student Veterans Association, Running Club, Ski & Snowboard Club, Pep Band, Audio Engineering Society, and Cru.

Students specialize further in the second year ( Part IB ) of their Tripos, taking three subjects from a choice of twenty, and completely in their third year ( Part II ) in, for example, genetics or astrophysics, although general third year courses do exist-Biomedical and Biological Sciences for biologists and Physical Sciences for chemists, physicists, etc.

Students customarily fold their sleeves on most shirts ( except Physical Education Shirt ), which also require a colour-coded nametag ( colours Black, Yellow, Red and Blue, inherited by first year batch from graduating batch ), along with the school badge, on the top left of the uniform.

Students will participate in the meetings of the Council when systemic issues are under consideration relevant to its functions, the following advisers: the President of the University Council, the Director of the Office of Human Resources, the Director of the Office of Promotion and Recruitment and the Director-Systemic Development Planning and Physical Plant.

Students in the High School division are required to study interdisciplinary Humanities, United States History, Biblical Studies, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, and also meet various requirements in Fine Arts, Information Technology, Asian Studies, and Physical Education & Health.

Students seeking baccalaureate degrees in education select one of the following subfields to qualify for a state board granted license: Pre-Secondary Education ( Early Childhood Education PreK – 3, Elementary Education K – 6 ), Secondary Education ( Biology 7 – 12, English 7 – 12, History 7 – 12, Mathematics 7 – 12, Psychology 9 – 12 ), K – 12 Education ( Physical Education K – 12, Visual Arts K – 12 ), and Special Education ( Special Education Modified and Comprehensive K – 12, Special Education Early Childhood ).

Students can take a short course Physical Education GCSE as an extra-curricular activity.

Students in Years 7 to 10 undertake studies in mathematics, English, science, history, geography, music, film studies, visual arts, dance, Technological & Applied Studies ( metalwork, woodwork and Home Economics ), languages, and Personal Development, Health and Physical Education.
