Study Abroad Programmes

UPEACE offers graduate and advance undergraduate students from other institutions the opportunity to enrol in UPEACE ’ s Study Abroad Programme ( SAP ) in three different ways:

* Junior year: Fall: Study Abroad ; Winter: Study Abroad ; Spring: On campus ; Summer: On campus

* African Diaspora and Study Abroad Brazil African Studies

* DIS – Danish Institute for Study Abroad, an English language study abroad program located in Copenhagen, Denmark

Special programs include Study Abroad, Honors Academy, RU Connections freshmen living / learning communities, internships, co-ops, practica and service learning, Army ROTC, leading to commission in the U. S. Army, undergraduate research opportunities.

The university also has an agreement with the New York University Study Abroad Program that will allow University of the Sciences students to study at NYU campuses in Asia, Africa, and Europe for a semester or a year.

This provides students with many unique learning opportunities, including internship programs, career observations and a variety of Study Abroad programs that take place over May Term.

Within this period, the university opened the Center for Arabic Study Abroad ( CASA ), which attracted students from around the world who wish to study Arabic.

Additionally, UGA has signed agreements with several outside study abroad organizations: the American Institute For Foreign Study ; Australearn ; the Institute for Study Abroad ( IFSA ), Butler University ; International Studies Abroad ( ISA ); the The School for Field Studies ; the University of New Orleans, Innsbruck International Summer School.

* UNB ’ s Gregg Centre for the Study of War and Society is one of the few research institutes in Canada and the U. S. studying the role of climate change in current and future conflicts.
