ET with the launch of a primetime block called SNICK, which was home to shows such as Are You Afraid of the Dark ?, Clarissa Explains It All, Roundhouse, All That, The Amanda Show and Kenan & Kel ; in 2004, the block was reformatted as the Saturday edition of TEENick ( which originally debuted on Sunday evenings in 2000 ), and the Saturday night block continues today without an official block name ( though A Night of Premieres is occasionally used when two or more programs feature new episodes on that night ); the TEENick branding, with its spelling altered to TeenNick, has since been used on the Nickelodeon sister channel previously known as The N. In June 1993, Nickelodeon resumed its magazine brand, Nickelodeon Magazine.

The show's executive producer, Dan Schneider, would go on to create and produce several hit series for Nickelodeon including among others Kenan & Kel, The Amanda Show, Drake & Josh and Zoey 101, and more recently iCarly and Victorious.

Duff's early career started by making guest appearances on made for television films such as Hope and True Women and on TV series such as The Amanda Show.

The Amanda Show is an American live-action sketch comedy and variety show that aired on Nickelodeon from October 16, 1999 to September 21, 2002.

Two years after the end of The Amanda Show, Dan Schneider created a spin-off series, called Drake & Josh, featuring Drake Bell and Josh Peck.

Such failed schemes may include Penelope's attempts at outsmarting the fictional security guard of the studio in which episodes of the Amanda Show are filmed and at manipulating Amanda's cast-mates into helping her carry out her plans.

" At the end of the episode, the screen shows the words " To Be Continued ," but The Amanda Show was cancelled shortly thereafter ending sketch in a cliffhanger.

* The Dare Show – A show hosted by a sister Sharon ( played by Amanda Bynes ) and her younger brother, Toby ( played by Drake Bell ).

Reruns of The Amanda Show originally started airing on The N ( now TeenNick ) on October 31, 2007 and was dropped from the channel in March 2008, but then returned on April 4, 2009 and again is now airing daily on the weekdays as of November 2011.

The Best of The Amanda Show also didn't air.

On August 3, 2009, The Amanda Show was dropped from The N once again, but returned in the new TeenNick block The 90's Are All That on October 17, 2011.

Reasons for these episodes not being shown are yet to be confirmed, although, The Amanda Show is to be repeated and so possibly, the missing episodes will be shown then.

Reruns of The Amanda Show began airing on TeenNick on October 11, 2011.
