Whidbey Island has four lakes that are part of its interior hydrology: Cranberry Lake ( inside Deception Pass State Park ), Deer Lake ( inside Deer Lake Park ), Goss Lake and Lone Lake ( both near the town of Langley ).

The principal parts of the northern section, from west to east, are Beckenham, which includes Eden Park and Elmers End ; Bromley with Bickley, Bromley Park and Bromley Common, Park Langley, Plaistow, Shortlands, and Southborough ; Chislehurst, with Elmstead and Sundridge.

An independent school Langley School, lies just to the North of Loddon at Langley Park.

Langley Park is an unincorporated area and census-designated place ( CDP ) in the Washington, D. C. metro area.

The " International Corridor ," a commercial zone along University Boulevard at the southern end of Langley Park, is close to the University of Maryland, College Park, Silver Spring, and Takoma Park.

Two transit station locations on the proposed Purple Line are being planned to serve Langley Park.

" Langley Park " refers to the Langley Park estate established in 1923 by the McCormick-Goodhart family in the Chillum District of Prince George's County.
