Wrexham Tower, part of Saybrook College, Yale, is a replica of that of St. Giles ' Church, Wrexham.

In 1834, an even greater fire ravaged the heavily rebuilt Houses of Parliament, and the only structures of significance to survive were Westminster Hall, the Cloisters of St Stephen's, the Chapel of St Mary Undercroft and the Jewel Tower.

The Jewel Tower, the Undercroft Chapel and the Cloisters and Chapter House of St Stephen's were the only other parts of the Palace to survive.

He was buried at the Tower of London, in the chapel of St Peter ad Vincula in an unmarked grave.

His body, minus his head, was unceremoniously buried in an unmarked grave in the Royal Chapel of St. Peter Ad Vincula, within the walls of the Tower of London.

The ghost of Anne Boleyn, beheaded in 1536 for treason against Henry VIII, allegedly haunts the chapel of St Peter ad Vincula, where she is buried, and has been said to be walking around the White Tower carrying her head under her arm.

Other works by Telford include the St Katharine Docks ( 1824 – 1828 ) close to Tower Bridge in central London, where he worked with the architect Philip Hardwick, the Gloucester and Berkeley Ship Canal ( today known as the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal ), Over Bridge near Gloucester, the second Harecastle Tunnel on the Trent and Mersey Canal ( 1827 ), and the Birmingham and Liverpool Junction Canal ( today part of the Shropshire Union Canal ) — started in May 1826 but finished, after Telford's death, in January 1835.

In the first race, the course took a diversion around Southwark Park before re-joining Jamaica Road on the way to Tower Bridge and was routed through St Katherine Docks past the Tower Hotel, en-route to the Tower of London and the famous cobblestoned stretch of road that in later years was carpeted, to help runners prevent injury on the uneven surface.

In 2005, the route around the Isle of Dogs between was switched from a clockwise to an anti-clockwise direction, and at the route was diverted to avoid St Katherine Docks and the cobblestoned area near the Tower of London.

C., the Civil Courts Building in St. Louis, and the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial in Pittsburgh.

State Party Chairman James W. Dorsey added that enthusiasm was picking up for a state rally to be held Sept. 8 in Savannah at which newly elected Texas Sen. John Tower will be the featured speaker.

Two blocks west of the Old Town is the Kuchlbauer Brewery and beer garden featuring the Kuchlbauer Tower, a colorful and unconventional observation tower designed by Viennese architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser.

* 1999 – The Avala TV Tower near Belgrade is destroyed in the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia.

Examples of the Chez Panisse phenomenon, chefs who embraced a new globalized cuisine, were celebrity chefs like Jeremiah Tower and Wolfgang Puck, both former colleagues at the restaurant.

Puck's former colleague, Jeremiah Tower became synonymous with California Cuisine and the overall American culinary revolution.

Meanwhile, the restaurant that inspired both Puck and Tower became a distinguished establishment, popularizing its so called " mantra " in its book by Paul Bertolli and owner Alice Waters, Chez Panisse Cooking, in 1988.

* The Genom Tower arcologies ( among other things ) in the anime Bubblegum Crisis were partially inspired by the Tyrell hyperstructure.

On September 11, 2001, Omari boarded American Airlines Flight 11 and assisted in the hijacking of the plane, which was crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center, as part of the coordinated attacks.
