The Criterion Collection released a special edition version of the film on Blu-ray and DVD on June 12, 2012.

The software was re-designed and re-written for portability ( versions for GNU / Linux and Mac OS X have been promised ) and now supports many more codecs including AVCHD, H. 264, AVC-Intra, DNxHD, ProRes, Red R3D, DPX, XDCAM HD 50, XDCAM EX, DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K, but only for the paid Pro version.

On September 24, 2004 a Frankfurt, Germany concert was recorded at The Festhalle for DVD ( titled R30: Live in Frankfurt ), which was released November 22, 2005 ; a complete version of the R30 Frankfurt set ( the original DVD release omitted eight songs ) was released on Blu-ray on December 8, 2009.

This version of the film is featured both on the original 2001 DVD release and the remastered 2008 DVD as well as Blu-ray.

In August 2008, the BFI announced a new release of Salò on both high-definition Blu-ray and standard-definition DVD, claiming it to be " fully uncut and in its most complete version ," and that " the film has been re-mastered from the original Italian restoration negatives " and would be accompanied by a second disc containing extensive additional features.

Dark Sky Films released a Blu-ray version on September 30, 2008.

The film is also available in the Blu-ray Coen Brothers box set released in the UK, however this version is region free and will work in any Blu-ray player.

This version was subsequently released on laserdisc and VHS, but has not been released on DVD or Blu-ray.

This restored version made its debut at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival, followed soon after by a DVD and Blu-ray release in the UK by ITV DVD as well as screenings at festivals around the world.

On January 24, 2012, Paramount released a " meticulously restored " version of Wings in DVD and Blu-ray formats.

A digitally restored Blu-ray / DVD version was released in May 2010 via The Criterion Collection.

A digitally restored version of the film was released on DVD and Blu-ray by The Criterion Collection in May 2011.

The Blu-ray version of Day of the Dead was released October 2, 2007.

A digitally restored version of the film was released on DVD and Blu-ray by The Criterion Collection in June 2011 and has the alternate ending as a bonus feature.

The 30th Anniversary edition will be released on October 9, 2012 for Blu-ray and DVD, which will include a fully restored version of the original film, re-instating the original animatronic close-ups and the rifles.

Bandai Visual released a Blu-ray / HD DVD version during its 20th anniversary, 11 September 2007, drawing on the remastered 1997 DVD release in Japan.

Criterion released a Blu-ray version on 6 January, 2009.

In addition to these features, the 2-disc Blu-ray set also included storyboard-to-scene comparisons, an extensive photo gallery, and a " View from Above: Editor's Fact track " highlighting the different scenes in each version of the movie.

However, the phrase is heard in the Blu-ray release of Season 2 as well as the version streamed by Netflix, but with noticeably different sound quality to the rest of Serling's narration.

The film was re-released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on August 19, 2008 with the first anamorphic widescreen version of the film in America.

There have been two cuts of the Fuzzball Rally: a 28-minute version was included on the Hot Fuzz HD DVD ( UK / US ) and a 71-minute version was included on both the 3-Disc Collectors Edition DVD ( US ) and the Blu-ray Disc ( US / UK ) of Fuzz.

The film was released on Blu-ray on July 05, 2011 containing all of the special features found on the 2008 DVD release.

On August 7, 2012, a " 25th Anniversary Edition " was released on Blu-ray containing many of the same bonus features as the 2005 DVD release with the addition of a new featurette.

In 2007, Queen released a special edition of Queen Rock Montreal on Blu-ray and DVD formats containing their 1981 concert from The Forum in Montreal, Canada, and their complete Live Aid performance, along with Freddie Mercury and Brian May performing " Is This The World We Created ...?

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment released the film on DVD ( again, this time with an anamorphic transfer ) and on Blu-ray Disc ( for the first time ) in August 2008 as a two-disc digitally remastered " collector's edition ", but still containing the same special features.

It was released in an ' Ultimate Collector's Edition ', containing the film on both Blu-ray and DVD, a collector's booklet and poster.

There have been rumors that Paramount Home Entertainment is planning Blu-ray / DVD combo release containing a new remastered transfer, though no official confirmation has been made.

In June 2011 the Criterion Collection released a fully restored and re-mastered DVD and Blu-ray edition, containing interviews with Nicolas Roeg, Terry Johnson, long-time Roeg editor Tony Lawson, and the short film, " Making ' Insignificance '".

In contrast, the Blu-ray Disc release, containing all of the features from the 2-Disc DVD version ( including some  original scenes from the theatrical release, but excluding the writer's commentary ) is still widely available.

A bonus Blu-ray 3D disc containing the movie is scheduled to be included in the upcoming Kamen Rider The Movie Blu-ray Box 1972-1988 set.

The film was released as a 2-disc Blu-ray special edition in the UK on July 19, 2010 by Metrodome Distribution and featuring both Original and Director's Cut.

Paramount released Fatal Attraction on Blu-ray Disc on June 9, 2009 with several bonus features from the original 2002 " Special Collector's Edition " DVD, including commentary by director Adrian Lyne, cast and crew interviews, a look at the cultural phenomenon of the movie, a behind-the-scenes look, rehearsal footage, alternate ending, and original theatrical trailer ( both in high definition ).

Also released on April 18 was the band's " Mr. Children 2011 Tour Sense-in the field -" DVD, which debuted at number 1 on both the Oricon DVD and Blu-ray charts, making Mr. Children the first artist to top three of Oricon's charts in a single week.

It is available on both DVD and Blu-ray Disc.

Unlike the VHS-to-DVD transition, almost all stores continue to carry both Blu-ray and DVD.

The 2-disc Special Edition Blu-ray / DVD combo ( both in Blu-ray and DVD packaging ) will feature a new digital transfer and new bonus material.

UK distributor Optimum Releasing released a digitally restored version for both DVD and Blu-ray on 5 September 2011.

and both would be re-released remastered on DVD and Blu-ray in 2010.

In October 2009 audio and video ( both DVD and Blu-ray ) recording of his set, Live at the Isle of Wight 1970 was released.

The release is a 3-disc combo pack including a Blu-ray 3D disc, Blu-ray Disc and a DVD that includes both a DVD and digital copy of the film.

It is also part of both the Blu-ray and the now defunct HD DVD standards.

The DVD and Blu-ray editions of the film feature both the shooting script and a great deal of deleted, extended and alternate footage which had never been seen before.

Blu-ray also supports anamorphic wide-screen, both at the DVD-Video / D-1 resolutions of 720 × 480 ( NTSC ) and 720 × 576 ( PAL ), and at the higher resolution of 1440 × 1080 ( source aspect ratio of 4: 3, hence a pixel aspect ratio of 4: 3 = 16: 9 / 4: 3 when used as anamorphic 16: 9 ).

Funimation licensed the film and the first TV series in North America, and released both of them in DVD as well as Blu-ray Disc.

Blu-ray and Digital cinema both have eight-channel capability which can be used to provide either 5. 1 or 7. 1 surround sound.

2010. 3. 14, was released on July 7, 2010 on both DVD and Blu-ray.

The all-region Blu-ray including both films was released on June 19, 2012 with both films presented in 1080p.
