In 1959, United Artists offered its first ever television series, The Troubleshooters ( after failing to sell several pilots in the previous few years ), an adventure / drama on NBC, starring Keenan Wynn and Bob Mathias, as employees of an international construction company.

Artists such as Benjy Davis Project and Corey Smith ( musician ) have played on the Revel's stages within the past few years.

Artists signed to N2K Encoded included Jonathan Butler, Dave Stewart ( of Eurythmics fame ), and Candy Dulfer, to name a few.

On March 30, 2012 the Screen Actors Guild ( SAG ) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists ( AFTRA ) completed a merger of equals forming a new union SAG-AFTRA and as a result of this merger a group of actors including Schaal, her former stepmother Valerie Harper, fellow voice actor Michael Bell and actors Edward Asner, Martin Sheen and Ed Harris to name a few immediately filed a lawsuit against SAG President Ken Howard and several SAG Vice Presidents to have the merger overturned and the two unions separated because of their claims that the election held by both the SAG and AFTRA memberships was improper.

The eighth of the Golden Age majors, United Artists, owned a few theaters and had access to two production facilities owned by members of its controlling partnership group, but it functioned primarily as a backer-distributor, loaning money to independent producers and releasing their films.
