A reviewer of Wrathall's book stated: " An ontology of unconcealment ... means a description and analysis of the broad contexts in which entities show up as meaningful to us, as well as the conditions under which such contexts, or worlds, emerge and fade.

Allmusic's album reviewer, Mike DaRonco, felt " the first two songs are great in that catchy, playful pop-punk sort of way, but the rest ... fall under the trap of having all their tracks sounding like one big, long song ".

Jyrki Kasvi spent several years as a game reviewer as well as a columnist under the pseudonym of Wexteen the Wizard.

The reviewer noted amongst other things the magnitude of the galaxy to explore and the total size of the simulator, which weighs in at under one megabyte.

Beginning January 24, 2005, the magazine came under the direction of a new editor-in-chief, veteran book reviewer Sara Nelson, known for her publishing columns in the New York Post and The New York Observer.

Kasvi has been the editor in chief of Kosmoskynä, the magazine of Finnish Science Fiction Writer's Association, a games reviewer in the computer magazine MikroBitti and a columnist in the computer games magazine Pelit, under the pseudonym Wexteen the Wizard.

She has been shortlisted for the 2010 CBC Literary Award for poetry and has won the Bronwen Wallace Memorial Award for most promising writer under 35. As a critic, she is a regular reviewer of fiction and poetry for The Globe and Mail and has written scholarly articles on Canadian contemporary poetry.

In 1991, CBC reviewer, Jerry Wasserman called the Vancouver Fringe Festival production, The Diamond among the pebbles ... Maybe the most powerful play ever written in Canada about two down and out couples in Kingston Ontario living on the edge, the outer edge of respectability and trying to make some sense of their lives-to find love and a kind of domestic normality under the worst conceivable conditions.

Eurogamer echoed criticism on the game's length ; reviewer Tom Bradwell commented that " although I'm hard pressed to criticize what you get, the complete absence of everything we've learnt from the likes of Counter-Strike and everything since is frankly bizarre ".

This sentiment was echoed by another reviewer, who said that " Dietz takes all the drudgery of the game and translates it, nearly verbatim, into a book of equal drudgery.

This was echoed by GameSpot's reviewer, who, though intrigued by the series ' addictive charm, was displeased with Might and Magic VIIIs tedious interface and pointed out the imbalance of the dragon character class.

IGN reviewer Craig Harris, who gave Sonic Advance 2 a 9 out of 10, drew comparisons between the game and its predecessor, while also stating " the graphics are more vibrant with tons more character animation to give the sequel a lot more personality.

Collected Editions website reviewer Simon Finger praises JSA: The Liberty Files's Tony Harris for his artwork, which conveys " the subtle emotional beats of the story as effectively as he does the action sequences.

The reviewer gave particular praise to Hart's directorial skill :" The camera placement here, the simple yet effective symbolism, and the flair for spectacle as in the brilliantly handled mob scenes where all of Inceville goes up in smoke, the real ' feel ' of the old, dusty, unglamorised West, all should have earned Hart a reputation as one of the great directors.

The publisher quotes praise by Dennis Smith, and a reviewer who characterizes Perry's New Auburn as spiritually located " somewhere between Garrison Keillor idyllic, sweet Lake Wobegon and the narrow-mindedness of Sinclair Lewis's Main Street.

The use of John Williams ' soundtrack from the Star Wars films was met with praise, though one reviewer believed that the music is overused in Star Wars video games.

The only story in the book to receive true praise from reviewer Alma A. Hromic is the last chapter, To the Promised Land, which incidentally, does not deal with Romans or the upper class of the Empire.

Salon reviewer Andrew O ' Hehir gave mixed criticism and praise, stating, " y any reasonable standard, this dark vampire epic — all massive overacting, cologne-commercial design and sexy cat suits — sucks ".

A reviewer from Rediff praised the lead characters Prashanth, Aishwarya Rai and Nassar as " ever dependable ", whilst singling out praise for Radhika whom she describes that " with her startling cameo, sweeps the acting honours ".

The reviewer from The Indian Express called the film a " hilarious comedy " and drew significant praise to the performance of Aishwarya Rai and the music of Rahman.

Much praise was given to Bakker's anthropomorphising of the dinosaurs ; a reviewer for the Toronto Star said that " Raptor Red does for dinosaurs what some nature writing does for creatures alive today: it turns data into stories.

One reviewer of the 1908 operetta gave a paragraph of praise to the comic hunting tales presented in a scene in which three hunters are trying to outdo each other with hunting stories about the " montimanjack ," the " peninsula ," and the " whiffenpoof.

Allmusic reviewer Vincent Jeffries singled out Lombardo for praise on the album, remarking that Slayer fans " will enjoy the drummer's double bass work and overall aggression throughout the disc.

It's strongest praise came from Eurogamer, with one reviewer stating that the game's " mix of real time and turn based strategy means that Theocracy takes place on a far larger canvas than a purely real time game ever could.

" After luke-warm praise for the film's plot, the reviewer continues, " it is the panoramic and close views of life amid the ' new architecture ' of Frankfort and Berlin — ' early Twentieth Century modern warfare ' architecture — which gives the adventure the authentic impact of a documentary.

A reviewer pointed out that Jerdon seemed unaware of the significance of geographic distributions in evolutionary relatedness.

" The reviewer also pointed out problems in his usage of George Gray's arrangement of the bird classes and states: " In thus following the phantasies of Kaup, and the mad vagaries of Bonaparte ( in his latest writings ), we cannot believe that Dr. Jerdon has acted well for his own reputation, nor wisely as regards the class of readers for whom his volumes are specially intended.

One reviewer pointed out " he's telling us something everyone already knows: Fast food is bad for you.

In a review for Speculum, the journal of the Medieval Academy of America, Jeremy duQuesnay Adams remarked that Manchester ’ s work contained “ some of the most gratuitous errors of fact and eccentricities of judgment this reviewer has read ( or heard ) in quite some time .” In particular, Adams pointed out that Manchester ’ s claims about diet, clothing, and medieval people ’ s views of time and their sense of self, all ran counter to the conclusions of twentieth-century historians of the Middle Ages.

The reviewer in The Guardian wrote: " There is no pointed satire, only a passable line of wit, but the effect is one of genuine high spirits and those who liked it on Thursday were ready to call it the gayest piece of entertainment since The Mikado.

However, Amis envisioned something different for the character: he did not like M and, as one reviewer pointed out that in The James Bond Dossier, he had " spent a chapter running him down.

Joanne Ostrow, a reviewer for The Denver Post, said only a cartoon could get away with " such pointed satire " of American political campaigning and advertising that is featured in the episode.

One reviewer, however, has pointed out that Featherston is not an exact parallel to Hitler and found his image, rhetoric, and propaganda techniques for the most part credibly adapted to the American South.

The reviewer pointed out some similarities with Snapshot, a module for the 1977 Game Designers ' Workshop role playing game Traveller.

" New York Times reviewer Gerald Jonas was even more critical, saying that while Brunner was attempting to write " slice-of-life " fiction about a future society, the result of his arbitrary choices about social details is that " the entire fictional edifice collapses like a house of cards.

However, while much has been written about this topic, this reviewer is not aware of any generally-accepted formal theory of causation tied to the second law.

Other critics were more generous ; Doug Elfman of the Las Vegas Review-Journal called it " another great and bizarre, twangy album of alternative-singer-songwriting stories about cars and horrible relationships ", while a reviewer in the New Straits Times noted its " smart, subtly dissident, and always catchy pop ".

Over time, the reputation of the film has improved tremendously, and it is now considered a classic, with at least one reviewer calling it Sturges's " masterpiece " and " one of the finest movies about movies ever made.

After Rosa dies peacefully, Enrique is shown once again waiting with the other day-labor hopefuls in a parking lot, offering his services to a man looking for " strong arms "; reviewer Renee Scolaro Rathke observes: " It is a bitter realization that Arturo ’ s words about the poor being nothing but arms for the rich holds true even in El Norte.

The reviewer also praised the control scheme, noting that it allows the player to " more or less forget about the specifics of what are physically doing ... and lose in the adventure instead.

A New York Times television reviewer added this editorial note at the end of a glowing review for A Town Has Turned to Dust, a show about racism and bigotry in a small Southwestern town: "' Playhouse 90 ' and Mr. Serling had to fight executive interference ... before getting their play on the air last night.

The first ( four-issue ) miniseries, Vertigo Pop: Tokyo was in the words of one reviewer " a broad comedy about cosplay fans and the mafia ( yakuza )," revolving around an American who moves to Tokyo's famous Akihabara district and attempts to deal with the differences between the two cultures before getting caught up in a " wild adventure involving kidnapping, extortion, gangsters, and rock stars.

The same reviewer also stated " Planescape has just about the best sound I've ever heard in a game.

The game's sound and music were described as " well above the norm " and " superb ", and one reviewer stated that his only complaint about the music was that " there wasn't enough of it ".

Another reviewer stated that Planescape: Torment had " just about the best sound " they had heard in a video game.

In The Nation, reviewer Katha Pollitt said, " Gibson has violated just about every precept of the ( United States Conference of Catholic Bishops ) conference's own 1988 " Criteria " for the portrayal of Jews in dramatizations of the Passion ( no bloodthirsty Jews, no rabble, no use of Scripture that reinforces negative stereotypes of Jews, etc.

In order to support his family, he continued to work as a book reviewer for the Journal des débats from 1941 to 1944, writing for instance about such figures as Sartre and Camus, Bataille and Michaux, Mallarmé and Duras for a putatively Pétainist readership.

Galaxy reviewer Floyd C. Gale received the first novel favorably, saying " though pure entertainment, underlines SF's role in providing speculative thought about potential problems.

One reviewer suggested that " their lyrics, which consisted mostly of songs about hitting women, stealing from women, and having anal sex with women, made their anonymity necessary.

" In the view of the reviewer, it was enough of a recovery for them to point out that " it is time, perhaps, to forget the much exaggerated things which have been said about sex, sadism and snobbery, and return to the simple, indisputable fact that Mr. Fleming is a most compelling story-teller.
