The tradition and spirituality of Aboriginal Australians places great emphasis, as with every religious tradition, on the role of tribal Elders in passing down stories of the Dreaming, and skills and lessons for survival ( such as hunting and tracking ).

Welcomes to Country are made by Elders of the Aboriginal nation on whose traditional lands each event is taking place.
