Above the station is a monument in Dali's honour, and across the surface of one of the main platforms is painted, in big letters, «< span style =" font-variant: small-caps "> perpignan centre du monde </ span >» ( French for "< span style =" font-variant: small-caps "> perpignan centre of the world </ span >").

Above ground there is little sign of the vast interior: two curved glass canopies at the east and west ends of the station cover the entrances and allow daylight into the ticket hall below.
