* Agha Shahid Ali

The Kashmiri-American poet Agha Shahid Ali was a proponent of the form, both in English and in other languages ; he edited a volume of " real ghazals in English ".

This came about largely as a result of serious, true-to-form examples being published by noted American poets John Hollander, W. S. Merwin and Elise Paschen, as well as by Kashmiri-American poet Agha Shahid Ali, who had been teaching and spreading word of the ghazal at American universities over the previous two decades.

Muhammad Ali Pasha al-Mas ' ud ibn Agha (; / ALA-LC: Muḥammad ‘ Alī Bāshā ; Albanian: Mehmet Ali Pasha ; Turkish: Kavalalı Mehmet Ali Paşa ; 4 March 1769 – 2 August 1849 ) was an Albanian commander in the Ottoman army, who became Wāli, and self-declared Khedive of Egypt and Sudan.

Fath Ali Khan's son Mohammad Hassan Khan Qajar ( 1722-1758 ) was killed at the behest of Karim Khan Zand, and was the father of Agha Mohammad Khan and Hossein Qoli Khan ( Jahansouz Shah ) Qajar ( father of " Baba Khan ," the future Fath Ali Shah Qajar ).

By 1794, Agha Mohammad Khan had eliminated all his rivals, including Lotf ' Ali Khan, the last of the Zand dynasty.

In 1797 Agha Mohammad was assassinated in Shusha, the capital of Karabakh khanate, and was succeeded by his nephew, Fath Ali Shah Qajar.

Agha Muhammad took the opportunity to launch a rebellion which, in 1794, succeeded in capturing Lotf Ali Khan, the last Zand ruler.

Fat ′ h Ali Shah was the son of Hossein Qoli Khan Qajar, brother of Agha Mohammad Khan.

Fat ′ h Ali also ordered the creation of much royal regalia, including coronations chairs, " Takht-e-Tâvoos " () or Peacock throne and " Takht-e-Nāderī " () or Naderi throne, which was also used by later kings, and the " Tāj-i-Kīyānī " (), or Kiani Crown, a modification of the crown of the same name created by his uncle Agha Mohammad Khan.

" Junglee " was written by Aghajani Kashmeri ( aka Kashmiri and Agha Jani ), who also coached her in Urdu dialogue delivery, given his background in Urdu literature and poetry from Lucknow.

Aghajani Kashmeri ( Aka Kashmiri and Agha Jani ) ( born: 16 October 1908 ), who has written more than 50 highly successful film scripts, spent his youth training as a screenplay writer under Himanshu Rai and Rajnarayan Dube at the Bombay Talkies studio.

General Agha Mohammad Yahya Khan Qizilbash, ( Urdu: آغا محمد یحیی خان قزلباش ; February 4, 1917 – August 10, 1980 ), was the senior Army Commander who was the third President of Pakistan, and the military dictator from 1969 until the dissolution of East-Pakistan, in December 16, 1971.

Damad Ahmad Fathi Pasha ( b. at Eyub, 1801 ; d. at Constantinople, 14 February 1858 ), Ambassador to Austria 1835-1836, at the Court of St James's 1838, and to France 1838, Marshal of the Artillery 1845-1852, posthumous son of Radosi Haji Hafiz Ahmad Agha, by his wife, Salaha Khanum.

On 25 March 1969 the Second Martial Law was imposed ; President Ayub Khan abrogated the 1962 constitution and handed over power to the Army Commander-in-Chief, General Agha Mohammad Yahya Khan.

His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan IV ( Aga Khan is also transliterated as Aqa Khan and Agha Khan ), NPk, NI, KBE, CC, GCC, GCIH, GCM ; born December 13, 1936 ; is an international business magnate, racehorse owner and breeder, as well as the 49th and current Imam of Nizari Ismailism – a denomination of Ismailism within Shia Islam consisting of approximately 5 – 15 million adherents ( under 10 % of the world's Shia Muslim population ).

Agha Muh &# 803 ; ammad Khān Qājār ( 1742 – 1797 ) ()‎‎ was the chief of the Qajar tribe, succeeding his father Mohammad Hassan Khan, who was killed on the orders of Adil Shah.

Agha Baji, as she came to be called, was brought to court accompanied by her brother Abol ' Fath Khan, and became Fath ' Ali Shah's twelfth wife ; highly respected at the court, for some reason remained a virgin.
