Rock bands of the 1980s and 1990s including Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jane's Addiction, Tool, Alice in Chains and Rage Against the Machine have been identified as laying groundwork for the development of nu metal by popularising elements of the genre, such as combining aggressive riffs with pop structures and drawing influence from a variety of genres within and outside of heavy metal.

The band met through friends and started covering KoRn, Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam, Tool, and Alice in Chains, among others, and played at local clubs ( most commonly playing at Club Infinity ) for a year and a half.

Also from 14 Shades of Grey, the track titled " Layne " was written about Alice In Chains frontman Layne Staley in response to his death in 2002.

She appeared in the movie musical Temptation with actors Adam Pascal, Tony Award Winners Alice Ripley and Anika Noni Rose, and film actress Zoe Saldana and in 2009 had a small role in I Love You Phillip Morris, with actors Ewan McGregor and Jim Carrey, playing a simple woman requiring legal assistance.

Jamie has acted with Amanda Holden in ' Mad About Alice ' ( 2004 ) and worked with Adam Faith on the series Murder in Mind in 2003, shortly before Faith's death.

He was the son of Roger Alabaster of the cloth merchant family from Hadleigh in Suffolk, by Bridget Winthrop of Groton, Suffolk, sister of Adam Winthrop ( 1548 – 1574 ) whose first wife ( the marriage was short, she died three years later in child birth ) was Alice Still, sister of John Still ( d. 1607 / 8 ), Bishop of Wells.

He was not of age to marry on 2 February 1448, the date of the marriage contract agreed between his father, and Sir Alexander Home of that Ilk, knight, ( afterwards created Lord Home ), which settled the contract of marriage between Adam and Helen Home, Sir Alexander's daughter by his spouse Janet Haye, daughter of Sir William de la Haye and Alice de la Haye.

Born in 1987 in Retford, Nottinghamshire, Adam Walker studied at Chethams School of Music and the Royal Academy of Music with Michael Cox graduating with distinction in 2009 and Her Royal Highness Princess Alice Prize for exemplary studentship.

As she tries to mete the same fate out to Alice, out comes Adam from the snowy perilous night to her rescue.

Two years later Alice and Adam see one another again on either side of an escalator-she's going down and he's riding up.

Adam stops at the top and turns to stare back at Alice before walking away.

After a short chase Chris is caught, and is paddled by several people, including Mayor Adam West ( in a scene from the film Dazed and Confused, complete with Alice Cooper's No More Mr. Nice Guy playing ).
